Bab 227: Finally Official!

On the thirteenth day of the second month, the servants inside the Lin residence were extremely busy. They were extremely enthusiastic.

Red fabrics and ribbons were hanging on the pillars and even at the edges of the roof. Celebratory colored dresses and clothes were worn by servants and even the guards who were always wearing their metal armors had to wear differently that day to show that they were also celebrating this fateful day. 

Cut-out of the character 'Double Joy' were plastered on the windows and doors. The people who came to watch stood outside. They wanted to see the bride and more so, see the legendary duke that everyone loved. 

Inside her chambers, Lin Xiaofei also had to suffer watching her maids fuss over her. They first waited upon her after her bath, made her up, let her wear the red wedding robes that were embroidered with dragons and phoenixes.
