'Ahh, it seems that his master was getting closer towards his goal to steal the heart of the Madam.' Gu Yan proudly thought to himself.

"Madam doesn't have to worry about this. Master will never do anything that would implicate Madam and make sure you are safe from harm." Gu Yan continued to help his master to get into the soft side of Lin Xiaofei.

"He should've done the same last night then. I was almost killed by assassins twice. I doubt I'll escape the next time because he can't keep me safe here." Gu Yan choke up when he heard her reply.

He basically shot his foot while trying to save his master from her wrath.
