Japan was left in a state of silence, so quiet that you could hear a pin drop from a mile away.
It was on that silent night that they had seen All Might in his true form, skinny and weak. The complete opposite of the symbol of peace.
The police had finally arrived in the hopes that All Might would have apprehended Deku, but that hope was lost when they saw the boy in the suit, blood crawling from the top of his face, standing in front of the man known as Toshinori Yagi.
Although Deku could have easily of escaped, he chose not to resist as the sound of the sirens came closer, drowning out the sound of the helicopter. After waiting minutes for their arrival and staring at the motionless Toshinori, Deku was finally put in cuffs.
Deku stared out the window as the blue and red lights from the car he sat in reflected the buildings around him. They were taking him to prison, ready to interrogate the boy and show him a new side of life. Deku found that gaining a new experience was going to be fun, along side the fact that he knew it wouldn't be long until he would be free again.
They intended to send him to a standard prison for villains, but with better security. Since Deku wasn't even considered an adult and hadn't truly beaten All Might, Deku wasn't so much of a threat to send him to Tartarus.
Deku's smile was unnerving for the officers that were driving the car, so they stayed silent throughout the entire trip.
As the silence broke in the country, social media and news sites were blowing up yet again about the Villain known as Deku. They knew that All Might held back, but they had also just learnt that All Might wasn't actually who he said he was.
The people wondered who really would've won that fight if All Might used his full power. They weren't even sure if Deku had used all his power as it increases with each attack, like he only used as much power as he needed to beat the person he was fighting. It was true that Deku was yet to use his full potential, but that was because he was yet to reach that point himself.
However, not a single person in Japan didn't know of Deku's name. Deku had been labelled the number one villain when he thought Endeavour, and on the night he thought All Might, he was given a new label. Deku had become the Anti Symbol of Peace.
----The Next Day----
Deku sat in his new room, one that was just a normal interrogation room but with a bed. In front of him was a table that had strong, magnetic cuffs to hold down Deku's arms as Toshinori sat on the other end of the table.
Naturally, he no longer had his suit. Instead, he sat in a yellow prison attire with an orange tint.
"Young Bakugo told me about your past..." Toshinori sounded tired and weak as he spoke, "He said that you looked up to me. I failed you, and I'm sorry."
Toshinori apologized for something he had no control over. Knowing what Deku was going through back then was impossible for Toshinori, so apologizing meant nothing to Deku. Nothing at all.
"Midoriya, when you were told that you were quikless, what did you do?" Toshinori had become curious about how Deku had reacted, seeing as he had been the same when he was just a kid. Deku's mind looked back at the blurred memories when one moment came to mind.
It was a dark night, and Deku stood in a dark room. All around him were posters of All Might on his walls. Tears crawled down Deku's cheeks as he began loosing what little hope he had after years of being nothing but a toy for Bakugo to boost his ego. It was the night that Deku would meet All For One.
"I wanted to be just like you." His voice was quiet, with a smile filled with pain, "What's wrong with me? Why does everyone hate me just because I don't have a quirk? It isn't fair. It isn't fair." Deku turned his head to face his computer screen that had a paused video on display.
It was the video of All Mights debut, the video of when he saved the lives of many in such a short time and made his iconic catch phrase.
"It's fine now, why? Because I am here!" Those words hit Deku's heart as he picked up his All Might mug from his desk and threw it at the screen in rage. The crash caused a loud sound, grabbing Inko's attention.
"You liar! You're not here! You've never been here!" Deku began shouting his heart out as Inko rushed in to see what was wrong.
"Izuku, what's wrong?" Inko sounded more worried than ever as she tried to comfort Deku with a hug. Deku pushed her arms away and stood silently for a few seconds before making the decision that would change his life.
"I'm going to go out for a bit." Deku walked passed Inko and completely ignored her concern as he grabbed his green hoodie from its hook on his door and left the apartment to walk in the cold, dark night.
That was all Deku had told Toshinori of the memory, and all he intended to share.
Toshinori could feel Deku's pain even in the cold voice it was explained in. Even in the interrogation room, Deku wasn't his usual self. After falling asleep alone and not having Toga by his side since the morning, Deku felt emptier than usual whilst he tried to get used to the loneliness again.
"Midoriya, listen. You can still turn this around... you could make a great hero with your power." Toshinori continued his speech from the night before, now giving more of an honest opinion.
Deku didn't want to hear what Toshinori had to say, but it was his only form of entertainment in that room.
"You can serve your sentence and come out better than ever. You could put a stop to this." Joining the hero's naturally would mean that Deku would have to give info about the League of Villains and betray his friends, but only one important question came to mind.
"And what about Toga? I'm not gonna leave her behind, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I did that?" Toshinori sighed to Deku's question, knowing how valid it was and giving nothing but the truth as a response.
"She would serve a life sentence if she gave herself in, so you will have to leave her if you don't want that to happen." Hearing what Toshinori had to say infuriated Deku.
Deku stood up off his chair and released himself from the cuffs, breaking them with his super strength quirk, shocking Toshinori and causing the guards surrounding the room to get into position to restrain Deku.
Toshinori held his hand up to signal the guards to stand down, and they so without question even though they were confused.
The fact was that Toshinori knew Deku wouldn't do anything except what every other person would do after hearing what Toshinori had said.
"Are you fucking serious!? There is no way I would ever leave her like that!" Deku's voice was filled with anger, but not enough for him to act on it, "She's the only one who understands me." He calmed down and sat back in his seat, this time without the cuffs.
"But haven't you left her by giving yourself in?" The curious question Toshinori had asked finally made the conversation much more interesting. Deku looked Toshinori dead in the eyes with a slight smirk on his face that escaped through the anger that was still in control of Deku.
"You really think I'd let myself be taken in without an escape plan?" It was obvious that Deku was smart, but Toshinori hadn't thought about why Deku was so cooperative when he was arrested.
The only idea that had come to Toshinori's mind was that Deku was only cooperative as he had done everything he needed as a villain. But that was far from the truth.
A knock at the door broke the short silence of shock. The door opened to reveal two people: A man and a girl that looked around the same age as Deku. The man had a drunken look, with clothes befitting of a man that visits the bar on a regular bases, but the girl was almost the complete opposite.
The girl had brown hair, brown eyes and an expressionless face. She wore a white hoodie with a black shirt and ripped black trousers to fit the rest of her outfit. Deku was curious about who they were, and it was Toshinori who revealed them.
"The girl here is Asumi, and the man is Hisashi." The name of the man was one that Deku recognized, and one he hated.
It was the name of his father.
