Bab 57: Credits to Aka
At 8'oclock pm in the evening, the press just received a shocking news and goes wild. It's an news article from Garshole, but the highlight of the news is someone from Kovsky!
"What's the meaning of this?" shouted prime minister in his office after reading the article. It was a news all about Garshole's independent in regards with Millingtone's Thruway. They stated that they will give up on the thruway and will build an another one by their own. Of course, the prime minister is delighted since if Garshole would step down, Kovsky would be the only one to use the thruway and the number of resources they will consume is twice bigger than before and it means that their economy would sky rocket! However, there is something that is bothering everyone, how come the Imperial Military's Major General was involved in this affair? It wasn't actually a negative impact but it was nether positive.
If so, they would go into a conclusion that the Major General helped Garshole which is considered as a threat, on opening a new resource!
The Kovsky press tried contacting Garshole to explain things further however the Garshole directly rejected them and stated that the news is the news, it was the truth and they're not being biased and they're not trying to stir things! It was the sole fact and what's written in it is that's it!
The press immediately tried approaching the Major General in a hot pursuit. They won't just let this matter slip quickly! This is a huge scoop, even the media was thrilled about this.
Later on, everyone was aware of it since it was in broadcast nationwide. First, it's a huge relief that the long conflict about the Milingtone Thruway from the country to Garshole has come to an end, and that was a relief. Secondly, the Garshole revealed a statement that it is all thanks to the Major General of the Imperial Military which make the matter more wilder.
Why would the Major General would meddle in a matter that wasn't for him, though, they understand his good conduct on the conflict but that job was supposedly for the embassy director only! Because if there is something bad that happened during the procession, the government is to be blame and the Kovsky citizens who is living on Garshole would be put in a dire situation.
What the Major General has done was considered illegal!
He went to charge on Garshole without the Prime Minister nor the embassy director consent and he even deliberately finished the matter by himself! That's impossible and also unforgivable. He might get sued by his actions.
So those who are actually well aware at the matter drifted their displeasure to this Major General and soon ridicule and harassment sparked from the press.
"Who does he think he is?"
"He isn't even a board member, how come he went to deal with such as serious matter?"
"He is probably out of his mind. He didn't even think that our country as well our lives is in stake and if his transaction wasn't successful, we might face great catastrophe!"
"Why won't the government file a case against him?"
"He isn't a representative for such as matters, he is a soldier and he doesn't have the right for this!"
Soon, the commotion goes wilder and wilder and it was a scorching debate.
Of course, no one knows that it was actually Aka who went by himself and done the transaction but he cleverly address it to the Major General. The director from before didn't bother nor get suspicious and he clearly tell the higher ups about the good solution and not forgetting to mention about the Major General's charity.
All of it was for this matter, and Aka has predicted all of this to happen. If the press as well the media would focus their attention toward the Major General who is the only suspect for the wild fire, the Major General would be put on a pressured state since even he isn't aware of what just happened but Garshole completely involved his name as their benefactor, how can he excuse his self into this?
Early in the morning, the clueless Major General who was prepared to leave for work was suddenly crowded with the awaiting countless reporters and media outlets and they throw many questions at once which make him confuse and startled at the sudden outbreak. He suddenly became speechless and wasn't aware that it was broadcasting live.
Caelan and Gear who just came from a jogging in the same morning nearly choke from their coffee when they saw the live news. They don't know whether to laugh or cry upon seeing the Major General's ashen face as he was bombard relentlessly!
"Isn't that the Major General?" asked most of the soldiers at every military base from all over the country as they watch the ongoing turmoil.
Not only in the army corps, even the Navy, the coast guard, the marine corps and even the aerial corps saw this exploding scene.
Raven on the other hand who is preparing to take a flight suddenly broke into a silent laughter but it's enough for the other pilot nearby to hear such a rare event. This handsome pilot never once smiled nor laughed before but after hearing him laugh for the first time for some reason, they were stunned.
"So this is what he means by this?"
Raven thought as he stared at the screen that is broadcasting the Major General chaos.
He is the only witness on how Aka turned the tides up so of course, he was more chuffed at this. He doesn't care about any other matters nor conflict that doesn't involve him but being a watcher sometimes, is thrilling.
He suddenly thought of piloting a rocket ship.
