Bab 16: ".. good at making me crazy!"
"You! You planned this, don't you? Akki?" She immediately blurted. 'He's playing you Zowie!' She incredulously thought. "You're such a sly fox!" She angrily said and uncontrollably stood up.
Her words were piercing his heart. It was true in many ways including their marriage. The idea gave him a heavy heart.
"Do you hate me that much?" He responded with a sad voice.
Zowie was taken aback. He was her husband now and he has the right to be disheartened.
"Do you hate being with me? Being married with me?" Akki pitifully said with his miserable eyes.
Then, the place became noiseless for a moment.
"You can sleep in the bed and I will be sleeping here in the couch. Go and prepare yourself for sleep now so you can have your rest. You need it." His face was sad but still caring for her.
She felt guilty. There maybe no love in their marriage but he treated her well. He did not deserve her harsh treatment.
'Maybe I was the only one with perverted mind while he was descent and had respected me to this extent! With his power, he could have been demanding! Besides, he seemed not affected with me anymore. He didn't even kiss me when he had the chances. I should separate mission from emotion! In order to get him, I must play the role of a good wife.' She silently pondered.
"Let's get change so we can rest." Zowie instantly expressed and walked on barefoot to find the room.
Akki was unmoved and remained seated in the couch until he saw her came back.
"Do you want me to drag you from there to the room?" She voiced out while putting her hands on her waist.
He gave her a confused face.
She was starting to get impatient of his husband being so slow. "I also need your help in taking off this gown." She exhaled.
Akki's confused face reddened with her statement.
"Oh, wait, wait! I just want to get change! Urgh! Whatever!" She lost her temper and madly walked away.
Akki secretly laughed seeing her wife's face so annoyed. He was just absolutely teasing her! Without him knowing that he was already blushing. He then followed his wife.
Akki tried to knock but before his hand could reach the door, it opened on its own. The room revealed his wife sitting at the king-sized bed, miserably reaching the lock of the gown at her back.
He silently observed her from behind.
"Urgh! I am so stuck with this!" She irritatingly shouted.
Zowie got stiffened when suddenly someone covered her back with a coat and helped her unlock her gown.
The only person that had gone into her mind was her husband. 'Don't be malicious Zowie! He was helping you and he was gentle so relax girl!' Her heart fluttered upon his gesture.
"Thank you." She simply spoken before going to the bathroom but she was held when she heard him.
"I am sorry, only clothes on my size are on the closet. Feel free to get change and use them. I will get change outside." Akki stated without looking at her.
'I like wearing loose clothes and pajamas anyway.' She wanted to voice out.
Then, Zowie saw him get some clothes and went out.
As Akki returned to the room, he saw her wife in his clothes. It did not reveal the shape and curves of her body but she was still making him hot. She was trying to dry her hair. He wanted to get angry concluding that she had taken a bath at this time.
"You did not need to take bath, your body might get sick. You have been tired." He calmly said.
She did not hear him because she was so concentrated on drying her hair right away. Then, she was startled when the towel was taken.
Akki was now drying her hair with the towel. He was seriously doing it. He could also sniffed her fresh sweet scent. But still, he tried to control his body.
Zowie's heart gone wild. No one had ever did this for her before. She wanted to protest but she could also sense Akki's authoritative aura. She looked at him secretly on the mirror. He was strictly handsome!
It took a while to finally dry her hair since it was long.
"Thank you!" She shyly said those words again. She took the towel and went to the bathroom again.
Akki was lying on the bed now when she returned. He was facing at the edge of the bed so her tense self tried to relax. She slowly laid herself to the empty side of the bed.
"Good night Zowie," he uttered, breaking the silence.
'Relax Zowie, she is a gentleman. Your husband will definitely not cross the line in your wedding night!' She tried to calm herself by being optimistic. "Good night Akki."
She was also preparing herself for instances like this as she agreed to the marriage but she never thought this would be so difficult and dangerous! She was with a handsome creature any woman would love to sleep with! 'This is for us mom!' She was trying to get a lot of encouragement.
On the other side, Akki felt so tortured!
'Calm beast! Calm it down! You must get her slowly but surely!' He was helplessly controlling himself from touching her. He had never been into this situation and he had never imagined their first night would be this agonizing!
An hour passed by but Akki was still wide awake. He was completely not at ease with Zowie on his side and then he heard someone crying.
"Mom! Mom! I missed you! Huh!" She sounded while crying.
Akki turned about to face her. He was a bit annoyed upon hearing her calling that killer. He thought she was still awake throwing tantrums, missing her "mom" badly.
To his surprise, her eyes were still close but full of tears.
He did not know what to feel. Pity? Mad? Guilt? Mercy? These were the words that were running unto his mind. But there must be no room for it.
'How come you are so innocent? You are even easily taken by my reverse psychology! You are gullible! I have shown you a little sadness and gentleness. And you are easily drawn by it!' He was starting to get angry at her innocence. But he must be happy, his plan worked. He was slowly getting her heart.
Akki had just shown her off a play a while ago. Getting into that house was not part of his plan but when they get there, everything was under his plan and control.
Zowie moaned and he did not know how to stop her from crying so he tapped her shoulder.
In Zowie's desperate need of comfort, he hugged him!
He tried to escape her embrace. But her hug tightened!
"Mom! Hmmm." She was still dreaming! She maybe thought it was her mother!
Akki was stupefied! Something in them were making his inner beast be awakened!
It was her flesh! She was not wearing any brassiere!
Of course she was not wearing them! The gown she wore did not need such undergarment! And the house only have the clothes for men.
Akki could feel her chest on his, constantly rubbed as she was hugging him tightly!
'This woman is good at making me crazy!' He was complaining from within. She was totally testing his gentleness against his manhood!
Akki had awkwardly dealt his condition. This was definitely out from his control!
He was extremely guarding himself from eruption while Zowie had calmed herself in his arms, sleeping safe and sound.
