Challenges was something Satan lacked. Living as the King also meant having no one daring enough around him who would try to challenge his authority. Why? Because the King never lose. 

Satan was still the king of hell. Even if before all that he is also Elise's grandfather, Satan love the company of the bad and evil. He was a demon through and through who enjoy winning over anything else.

"Naturally that would be fair for you," Satan's smile annoyed Leviathan who hoped his father could fall of a cliff, break his neck and die. It was clear how the dynamic of the family was off and only because Elise was here that neither the two would sit beside each other.
