Bab 163: The Kingdom of Beasts (1)

"Oh, you want to enter the Beast Kingdom? I'm afraid you can't." The inn owner's hooded eyes turned solemn. There was an evident sadness in his tone as he spoke, and his hands stopped wiping the glasses on the counter. 

Yllana tapped on the counter and asked why.

"The Beast Kingdom closed its gates to non-beasts since the Moon Princess was chosen." Once he mentioned the Moon Princess, Yllana's shadow on the floor flinched. The Moon Princess's sins against his master and future mistress were grave. If it were an ordinary demon, a death sentence would be considered kindness already. 

The old man stroked his beard and stared at the shadow on the floor. Azimuth froze. Yllana followed the direction where the old man's eyes were staring. She smiled. 

"You have a keen eye, inn master."
