Bab 118: In the Shadows

Two figures with hooded robes and masked mouths left the tea shop. The imperial insignia were magically engraved on their clothes. Everywhere they went, eyes followed them. Midel finally lost his cool as he urged Shiiba to leave with him early that day. 

The crowd parted as they saw the two white-robed figures walked out of the shop. There was a different kind of air about the two as they visit the weapon shops. The trusted adviser of the Empress is out for buying weapons and potions in the marketplace. The news soon spread and there were more people who eyed them in the shadows. 

"The trusted adviser of the new Empress? Why do I feel like he is not going to the palace?" Voronwe rubbed his chin while looking at Ronwe.

"He is being sent to the North Kingdom to carry out the orders of Her Majesty. I heard he is going with that child and a few nameless soldiers."
