Bab 80: Chapter 75 : Brothers Are Never Equals
The day that banished prince Lance Enuvulta and princess Serena Grande confessed their love for each other was almost a week ago .
Gilyu still hasn't brought himself to bring up the situation with his brother because he knew he still had no idea what to say to him .
It was dawn , the annoying squak of southern seagulls woke Gilyu from the little sleep he had gotten . The previous night he had stayed up again reading and researching the known map of the world .
He got up from his bed and pulled the dirty brown sheets of himself .
He was only wearing an old pair of black shorts and nothing else , he wasn't wearing a shirt or a jacket which exposed his incredibly pale skin . Unlike his brother Lance , Gilyu had a somewhat scrawny frame This was one of his many insecurites , in fact he had multiple insecurities because his brother was better in different ways . One was the difference in their physiques , Gilyu had very little muscle mass and Lance had wide shoulders , huge biceps and six pack abs . Another insecurity Gilyu had was his raw ability to produce lightning , Lance was always slightly more profficient and although they could both generate blue lightning which was a lot harder but a lot more powerful than the normal yellowish golden lightning , Lance could always harness it better than Gilyu . But despite these physical aspects Gilyu made up for it in his intellegence , he always loved to read and study maps and he also made up for it in charisma , Lance was always serious and brooding whilst Gilyu had a great sense of humour and was alot more of a people person . All of this considered once Gilyu looked at his bare torso he soon felt ashamed and put on a robe .
He then made his way to his desk where an abundance of sheets layed messily , spread out all over the desk .
Most of them contained notes and research but the piece of parchement in the centre was the map of the world .
He had checked the back of it multiple times but it only said fours words . ' Novia , by Angus Ronald . '
Gilyu had tried and tried and spent hours trying to decipher the meaning of the words , he still didn't fully understand it but he came to the conclusion that the map or the even the world itself is called Novia .
' How could someone know the name of the world but no one else does , is there some other part of the world we haven't visited ? ' Pondered Gilyu
' Man , my head hurts and I am starving . ' He thought to himself before opening the door of his cabin and quietely stepping down the wooden stairs .
He grabbed another brown loaf and went back up stairs but before going back into his cabin he glanced over into Serena's room to see that her bed was empty and no one was there .
He then decided to peer into Lance's cabin even though he knew if he got caught it could mean a row or even worse .
He saw Lance and Serena lying in bed nude without any clothes on but with Lance's clean white sheets pulled over them .
Lance had his arm around Serena and they were both asleep .
Gilyu could see Lance's clothing and Serena's underwear in the ground
' I knew I heard moans of pleasure last night ! ' Remembered Gilyu in desdain , ' Those two were getting it on hard weren't they . ' He assumed .
A particularly loud seagull flew by and squaked .
Gilyu thought they would both wake up and see him spying on them but to his surprise Serena's eyes stayed shut but Lance's eyes started opening and a second later Lance saw his own brother peaking at him with Serena .
' Oh shit . ' Thought Gilyu .
