Bab 17: Chapter 17 : The Lightning Princes
There were many guards at the draw bridge at the royal palace , Okriko had to tell the guards that Alhan was a paying customer who would be paying a substantial amount of money today to use their facilities .
The guards gave the all clear . Alhan and Okriko walked across the wooden draw bridge . As Alhan looked at the jet balck chains of the draw bridge he wondered ' Is this place really how it seems ? ' As Alhan and Okriko walked into the palace Alhan noticed the 2 golden statues of dogs with lightning coming out of their mouths and the intricate detail of the paintings on the walls and ceilings . The paintings of the lightning in the clouds raining down upon the country . The barrage of colours made it look like a master piece of abstract art .
A strange voice could be heard from down the hall ' Did I not say to bring me the bloody staff of lightning ! ' The voice said in a frustrated violent manner .
' I wonder who that could be . ' Alhan thought as him and Okriko walked further down the hall way .
' We're here . ' Said Okriko . ' No matter what you do not disrespect the lightning princes or they will have your head . ' Warned Okriko . ' Ok . ' Alhan said as they both walked in to the thrown room . There were glasses cylinders along the sides of the room filled with lightning . ' The two princes were sitting on their thrones but between the thrones was a red door . ' Could this be the way to the lightning power supply ? ' Thought Alhan . ' Your majesty . ' Okriko said as he got down on his knees and bowed his head . ' What is it Okriko , why did you bring this outsider here . ' Asked one of the lightning princes . ' That does not matter but what does matter is that you look like absolute shit today . ' Said Okriko while he and The Lightning Princes burst out laughing . Alhan was shocked at they way Okriko talked to them just now . The way he had been talking about them was like if you looked at them wrong they would execute you . ' You don't look that great either . ' One of the lightning princes . ' You there ! Outsider ! ' The same lightning prince said as he pointed his finger at Alhan . ' Yes you ! ' He said in an arrogant voice. ' Who are you ? ' He said . ' My name is Alhan . ' Said Alhan . ' And where are you from Alhan . ' Said the Lightning brother . ' I am from a little place at the top of the continent called Yisike . ' Alhan said . ' Did I hear you right , Yisike you say ? ' The other lightning prince said as he got up from his throne . He looked substantially more intense and didn't look like he would joke around with Okriko like the other lightning prince . ' The valley of Yisike wasn't that where he came from ? ' The other lightning prince said to the menacing one . ' Yes it is , it is where James Novik is from . ' The intimidating lightning prince said .
' But that ... that's my dad . ' Said Alhan .
