Shouko didn't realize how did her body unconsciously move backward and her words stuttered when she opened her mouth. It was like her mind faintly rejected what would Kyoya say next.

Her eyes widened slightly with her pupils shook. Even her lips trembled as she stared straight at him. Fear and anxiety were clearly reflected in her eyes.

Kyoya swallowed the bitterness he felt when he saw her reaction. It was inevitable for her to feel fear. She had just got to know a cruel, cold-hard truth. 

With the way he behaved, wasn't it telling her that he still had some unfinished things to talk about to her?

Kyoya lightly squeezed her hands, silently conveying to her that he was there for her. He didn't rush out his next words. Instead, he patiently guided her to not feel nervous as one by one, his words flowed out from his mouth.
