"When did you came back?" Chen Rui asked.

"A few days ago." He answered honestly. There was no reason to hide it from her after all.

She furrowed her brows in confusion, "A few days ago? Then why haven't you told me?" They could have just met up with each other if he called her earlier.

A sigh was heard from his side, "I just took care of a few things."

"And a few things, you mean?" She couldn't stop from raising her brow when she asked him that question.

"I'll tell you once I get there. I want you to meet someone. Since you're already at the hospital, then it's better. You can meet her after her check-up with the doctor." He said, giving a few clues in his words.

Of course, Chen Rui was able to catch on to the gender of the person he wanted her to meet later. The question she couldn't help but think was... why did he want her to meet up with that person?
