Bab 159: The Night Of The Ball (1)

Her forest green orbs glinted under the orange hues of the setting sun as she stood by the window which opened inside her room.

Lillian was admiring the view as the bright blue colors of the sky were turning dusky purple. She was too lost in her thoughts that she failed to realize something.

While she was busy admiring the view before her, someone else was also occupied with enjoying the view before him. But sadly enough, they both had their own views to focus on. 

While Lillian was busy watching the sun set across the horizon, Blake was gazing at her frail figure which was engulfed in the warm glow of rays. More specifically, he was stealing glances at her in between his work. 

Even though he had no office work to look after and could do as he pleased, he couldn't look over his responsibilities either just because he was enjoying his time away from home.
