Bab 132: Realization (1)

[Several days later.]

"I dare you to cheat before me!" Lillian yelled at the man who was sitting across her, on the other side of the chess board. 

A threatening glow filled her forest green eyes as the sunlight shone above her head. 

"What can you do?" Blake teased her a little, deliberately. "As if you are any match to my skills." He didn't forget to boast himself up.

The duo was sitting in the front garden of the Collins' mansion. A picnic blanket was sprawled on the freshly cut grass with a wide variety of food placed on one side of the blanket.

After what had happened the other night, Blake had given her an off for a good number of days so she could recover from that night. Not only that, he had himself taken some days off just so he could accompany her. It would have been better if Katherine was there with them, but she had to leave for Amsterdam to look over the establishment of SPARKLE's new outlet there.
