Gabriel takes the package and unwraps it. Inside is a temari* ball. The intricate design was little swirls that covered the ball. Starting from a dark navy blue to a lighter blue and eventually white. Each swirl reminded Gabriel of a small rose and where there was a gap the colour was black to make it all stand out. "I do not know when you had time to start this but it is amazing. I love it. Thank you."
"There were times in the middle of the night that I would wake up and when I could not fall asleep, I would work on it. Escaping your embrace was the hardest. I thought that I would wake you up." Amelia says this and is blushing and she turns her eyes away.
*Temari balls are a folk art form and Japanese craft, originating in China and introduced to Japan around the 7th century A.D. "Temari" means "hand ball" in Japanese. Balls made from embroidery may be used in handball games and other such similar games
