Bab 128: The Abyss Show
"You know, your sister isn't half bad," Leo commented.
He knew he'd pay for that comment as soon as he said it, and he was right. Morgana had mastered the art of elbow jabs. The latest of her attacks caused Leo to double over in pain.
"No need to get violent," he coughed. "I was just saying that she isn't like Maleagant."
"No, she's worse," Morgana snapped. "She'll lull you into a false sense of security before she drops the hammer down on you…"
Morgana wrapped her arms over her chest while she glowered at Leo.
"At least with Maleagant, you knew where you stood, but Morrigan has three sides. Wait until you meet them all before you tell me how awesome she is," she grumbled.
Leo sighed. "Never said she was awesome…"
"What was that?" Morgana raised an eyebrow at him.
"Nothing," Leo sighed more heavily this time. "Women…"
"Quiet on the set, please!" Shannon yelled.

I know this may seem like a filler chapter but the Abyssal Time will play a big role moving forward. This is just their opening salvo. :D Plus, I really wanted to highlight how lovable Max is to the fans. Bwahaha Also, I just dropped a bomb or two in this chapter that I hope you guys noticed. ;P
Btw, have you guys seen Max in full color? Check out the previous chapter's comments. Or was it the chapter before that one. Aw crap, I'll just post Max's character design here within the day.
