Bab 706: Chapter 706: Threat

When the defense knight looked up, he had a bad feeling, but by then it was already too late.

If he had used his shield, even if he had been struck by a catapult, he would have been knocked down at most, which would have at least given his team some time to heal him.

But without a shield, his fate was instant death. The Fire Eagle dashed, picked up the falling Colonel's Medal, and shot up into the sky.

"Damn it, leave it behind." The mage colonel fired a magic bullet from his hand.

Whoosh!

The Fire Eagle flapped its wings, sending a blaze of feathers flying. The incoming magic bullet clashed with the feathers and vanished into thin air.

More feathers were swept towards the mage.

"Shit, what kind of pet is this?" The mage was barely grazed by one flame feather when her magic shield shattered. Her body ignited, and if not for timely healing, she would have been in serious danger.
