Bab 86: The Truth

"I apologize for my blunt honesty." He spoke after she fell into a lengthy silence. His voice was filled with sincerity and she can't find a reason to get mad at him since he was telling nothing but the truth he knew.

She lowered her gaze towards the floor. For some reason she felt a ounce of embarrassment if what he said was true. It made her realize that the perfect life which was introduced to her has been a lie all along. She's a fake doll living in a fake world that everyone's around her made her believe.

"It's not your fault. You don't need to apologize." Xia replied to his apology. She did not raise her gaze towards him because she was afraid he will see the pain in her eyes.

" How long I have been working there—I mean on the assassination company." It's hard for her to pronounce the word 'assassin' which she refuse to believe.
