Crouching, She pokes the snow at the bottom of a dead tree. The maids always love to whisper around her. They think that she can't hear them.

Only idiots will believe that. She is a freaking witch. Of course, she can hear everything that happens in the house, if she makes an effort into hearing them. Knowing secrets is power, but it can also get boring. 

She wonders why she is here. She was an orphan who used to beg on the street until her master found her. He saw the talent that she had. For a long time, she followed him. It felt long because she was sure that she didn't age when she was with him.

The king bought her from her master. Then, her master left without an explanation. After two years, She realised that her master died.
