Chat story - 4 Mike tries to reveal the truth
Mike trying to explain to Dexter and Lisa about the twins!!!
Mike: mmm...(cough, cough)
Dexter: ...
Lisa: ...
Mike: Do you want some more herbal tea?
Lisa: No! No! We are too full!!! We just drank like three cups of your awesome tea...we were even talking about skipping lunch today...
Mike: So about Aiden...
Dexter: He is such a gem. He cares about his wife's best friend and brought her here. He is the perfect son-in-law, whom I always wanted and I got one! He is also brave, selfless and one of a kind. My daughter may have some flaws but he is totally perfect.
(Looking at the adoration, Mike shut his mouth)
Lisa: cough..cough... My daughter is also flawless... I agree our son-in-law is actually an amazing person. Oh, by the way, Mike, did you wanted to say something about him?
Mike: No...
(He ran inside the room where Aiden and Elina were eavesdropping the conversation happening outside. He held his thumping heart. )
Mike: I cannot say it... I definitely cannot reveal the truth. They both were already legends even at the time I was failing the silly missions my father assigned to me. I cannot! I really cannot!
Elina: It's ok, Mike... Here drink your herbal tea and go try it once again, when you are ready!!
Aiden: ...
He looked at Aiden who was sitting on the sofa as if this had nothing to do with him.
Mike: Can you really not help me with this task? Do you know even if one of them hit me, I could have a broken bone or two ... Do you want your father who raised you until now, to be bedridden so early in my life?
Aiden: ... (Still ignored him and picked up a book on the coffee table to read)
Elina: It looks like, we might have to sleep separately today as well. What can we do now? Anyways, you don't even want to say the truth to Jennifer's parents, so go back to your room.
Aiden: Fine. (threw the book he was holding, on the table hard and stood up)
Elina: So you are really going to sleep by yourself from now on? (She got little disappointed)
Aiden: No, I am going to explain to your friend's parents about us.
(He walked away while Mike followed him behind. Elina once again continued to eavesdrop from behind the door.)
