The old man opened his eyes a while later with a smile, "Most youngsters usually disturb this old man as soon as they enter, what do you want to sell young man?"

They reached the city and Ling Tian wanted to test his items and power so he split from Lian Qiu and entered a secluded part of a nearby forest. He tested the abilities of his boots and was satisfied with the increase in movement speed.

The old man snorted, "I told you, your fate is dark; A calamity will befall you in the near future that will be as dark as death, that's what my technique tells me. Scram kid."
Lian Qiu's lips twitched, he wanted to beat the old man but his mantra had been to always be righteous, and beating an old man contradicted it so he hesitated and was unsure what to do. He had been interested and paid the old man a mid-grade spirit stone to get his fortune read...
Ling Tian jumped in and glanced at the old man briefly, He said calmly to Lian Qiu, "Let's go." Lian Qiu noticed his mask and raised his eyebrows but didn't ask anything. He sighed and glared at the old man one last time and departed. Just as Ling Tian turned to follow him, the old man grasped his hand fiercely. "It can't be! You!!!"
Seeing the old man in shock brought a frown to Ling Tian's face. "What is it?" Ling Tian was ready to kill the old man on the spot if he recognized him.
The old man continued with disbelief, "Your fate! It is so unbelievable!" Ling Tian felt slightly creeped out so he forcefully separated the old man's hand, "Scram..." He turned to leave and soon rejoined Lian Qiu, a while later he heard a burst of mad laughter from the distance, "HAHAHA! Heaven, oh Heaven HAHAHA!" he gestured to Lian Qiu and they sped up and left the city.
