Bab 17: Nightmare
Linda's POV.
Chilly breeze touches my bare skin, my hair moving with the flow of wind, with an headset in my ears I am walking in an familiar yet unfamiliar place.
I think I have already walked miles but I never cross this strange place. I suddenly find that the atmosphere around me changes, I stand in front of an dark alley and there is an shadow of an silhouette that falls on my back. I can feel that. Suddenly my adrenaline rushes and my brain detects that there is an danger and my brain commands my legs run, run, run Linda, run.
Without any further thoughts I started running and that silhouette follows me. What the heck? Why should he follow me? What should I do if I get caught? A dozens of what's and why's spun around my head.
Something on my way made me trip and ouch I have scratched my elbow while I fell down. God please help me to curse the one who left the object in the middle and made me trip.
That silhouette approached me, like in the movies with a slow motion each step he moves forward make my heart shutter in fear. While he was few steps away from me he puts his hands into his pant pocket and took a knife.
Knife. with this thought I gathered my courage and questioned him,"Who are you? Why do you have to kill me?"
He smiles and comes closer without answering my questions.
"Please leave me. Don't kill me."
Now he answers me,"Linda, I have to. There is no other way."
What, he knows my name, how? how could be this possible? While I was thinking about it he is now an inch away from me.
He lifts his left hand and moves his hand in full swing and I shout,"Nooooooooooooo..."

Linda gasps for her breathe and she feels revealed when she found that she is in her room.
'What a nightmare? No Linda this is because you thought a lot about criminal encounters for your new novel and that is the reason for you to get such a worst dream.'
Linda couldn't sleep for the rest of her night. She just kept rembering about the scene that came in her dream.
Now it is dawn and she climbed down from her bed and prepared for a bath. She wore long pants and a long sleeved wicking shirt paired with a florescent green snickers. She took a backpack and filled it with an emergency kid and basic thinks needed for hiking.
When she climbed down it was only half past six but Zenith was already down and was searching for something in the fridge.
"Do you want something?",Linda asked him curiously and he turned towards her.
"Nothing I was just searching for extra water bottles. Let's go. We will fetch something to eat on the way.",with this they walked out but it was new for Linda because for the first time he initiated joining their hands. They walked hand in hand and walked to the garage.
He pressed the unlock button and the Jeep Rubicon blinked. It was black and they entered they the car and started their first date by hiking.
