"You really think I just walk around harboring anger and hate that blocks my eyes? I know why you didn't tell us and for that, I am able to forgive you," Mrs. Milti sighed, "You really think I wouldn't question your status if they put a young man such as yourself with no war experience on the battlefield? That only happens when the person has an influential hold in the kingdom such as yourself, your highness."

"Haha…" Dominic chuckled with his hoarse voice, "should have seen that coming."

"Hmm," Memoline agreed, "I must admit though, it was a nice move on your part. I may have been underestimating you based on my standards of young men from my village, and you proved me wrong."

"T-thank you?" Dominic replied, his voice holding a bit of hesitancy.
