The people were starting to murmur to each other about the royal family, their doubts increasing. 

Sure, they haven't seen Vaille come out in a long time or the king but that does not mean that they aren't doing anything. 

"Where is the King?" 

"Why hasn't he said anything about the attack?" 

"Is he going to do anything about it?" 

"Is Vetil responsible for this?" 

"Vetil? They haven't been very friendly with us from that time."

"But they are the ones that helped us this time right?"

"Could it be a trick?"

Whoever is doing this, is trying to get the people's trust away from the king. 

"You need to do something to quell this, Lillian," Roman said, placing his hands on her shoulders as he has this frown on his face. 

For the first time in a long time, he looks like he is wearing the correct expression on his face and that made Lillian smile more than she intended to.
