Bab 580: Humans
After some time, Matthew, Vivian, and Zoey left the country club. Vivian took a different car while the two took Matthew's car.
To Zoey's surprise, Paul and the bodyguards weren't there. It was just the two of them with Matthew on the driver's seat while Zoey on the front seat.
As the fresh fruity scent with a touch of Matthew's perfume wafted into her nose, Zoey glanced at Matthew as he buckled up his seat. After he did so, he turned his head to her direction and checked if she had already buckled her seat.
"Let me," He offered, not waiting for her to respond as he leaned in and did her seatbelt. "You always had this habit of not buckling your seat."
Matthew uttered as he finished buckling her seat. Upon hearing him, Zoey arched her right brow and watched him draw away.
"You sound as if I always do this." Zoey blinked her eyes innocently, tilting her head to the side as she only recalled a few times she rode with him.

I know it's been a while since I updated a chapter. I've been seeing your concerns in the comment sections, some even dm-ed me in discord.
To be honest, I had mixed feelings about it. But the majority of that is I'm moved. Thank you, guys!
For those who missed my previous announcement, I stated there that I would be taking a month hiatus for personal reasons. It's been almost a year since I started writing WYM. and in the course of one year, I rarely missed an update unless I don't have a choice. (like the typhoon that hit our province)
Writing had been fun for me and I looove it, I really do. However, lately, I felt exhausted, drain, and been on the lows. Still, I never wanted to disappoint you guys, so I kept my daily releases to make up for the lack of mass releases.
And that still took a toll on me. I couldn't sleep -- I would be awake for 2 days without a wink of sleep; lost my already non-existent appetite, and just wanted to stop anything that I have started. I can't function, mentally and physically.
Of course, I don't want that. Deep down, I know I love writing and the story I'm writing. Thus, I decided to have a break to reconnect with writing, fix my sleep with the help of sleeping aids, and write every once in a while without the pressure of keeping a constant daily update.
Although it's just been almost 2 weeks since I announced about the hiatus, I mass released to let you guys know that I've been doing fine. Much better than ever.
Thank you for checking on me. I love you guys just as much as you love this story. Thank you for supporting me through and through <3 You helped me more than you thought and hopefully, I can keep this positivity for a long time.
