Bab 7: Class Representative
After the rest of the class introduced themselves, Iida started complimenting Midoriya for defeating Bakugo and told him how strong Hiroto is, calling him the strongest in the class without a doubt. While Shoto sat in his seat silently swallowing all the humiliation as he lost fair and square, Bakugo stood up and left the class.
Seeing that, Midoriya went after him. As Bakugo exited the school building and moving towards the gate, Midoriya caught up with him and tried to explain that he didn't lie to him all these years. He told him that it was a borrowed power, he couldn't control it yet and someday he would like to make it his own.
Bakugo who was frustrated shouted angrily at him, "what the hell was that! Borrowed power? You are talking nonsense. What are you trying to do, make me out to be more of a fool than you already have? Today, I lost to you, that's all it was. That's all...
Then, his hands started to shake as he remembered Hiroto and Shoto's battle and then, AllMight's evaluation that says only Iida was the one who did great. Bakugo then said, "as I watched the battle between that half bastard and that pale-skinned, I thought, "I can't beat them for a second" Dammit. You too Deku. I'm just getting started. Just you wait, I will defeat each one of you for sure. Here, I will become number one. You hear that?" Bakugo turned back as tears welled up in his eyes and started walking away.
Meanwhile, Hiroto's phone rang, he picked up the call, "hello" "Hiroto sama, it's me, Mino Katsuhiko. The car is waiting outside." He turned around and looked at Shoto who calmed down and in deep thought, "Shoto, Katsuhiko san is here, let's go." Shoto immediately picked up his bag and walked out of the class silently.
Seeing Hiroto followed him, Sero commented, "It looks like he's still brooding over his loss." Iida replied, "it's normal. They looked like they have a complicated relationship. Didn't you see the newspaper? An article was posted about Endeavor and his family."
"I saw it too. It seems their Mother and Father separated a long time ago and she took away Hiroto san while the remaining siblings grew up together with their father," Momo joined their conversation while waiting for her family steward to pick her up.
The next day, as everyone sat in their seats, Aizawa spoke, "I saw the video recordings and the results. Bakugo, you are talented, so, don't act like a kid. Midoriya, I see that you broke your arm once again. You can't keep saying that you can't control your Quirk and end up injuring yourself. I don't like saying the same thing over and over."
As Midoriya nodded feeling sad and Bakugo looking away and mumbled, "I know," Aizawa turned a bit angry as he spoke, "Shoto, keep your emotions in check. You are the one who did the worst. You attacked Hiroto with a lethal attack after the match is over by losing control over yourself. If it was someone else, then it would be a fatal injury and you, Hiroto, at first I thought you went overboard but to stop someone who lost his mind, the first thing everyone should do is to knock him out. You did great stopping him first and then protecting yourself against the attack but it is a wrong choice since it's an indoor battle where there is little space to dodge the attacks. If it wasn't Shoto but a Villain with another power, you would have been the one in danger since you wouldn't have enough time protecting yourself after focusing on knocking him out. Understood?"
As Hiroto and Shoto nodded, Aizawa proceeds to tell the evaluations of all the students that made almost all of them sad as he criticized their methods of dealing. Then, he said, "ok, then, for today's class, you all will select the class representative. How you select is not my problem. Give me two names by the end of the class." After saying that, he closed the zip of the sleeping bag and slept.
As several people said that they wanted to be class representatives, Iida suggested the voting system. A while later, Iida looked down and sighed, "as expected. Well, there are at least 2 persons who think I was suitable for the job. That's alright" On the board, the one with the highest votes turned out to be Hiroto with 4 votes which surprised him as he voted Iida, not himself. The second was Momo with 3 votes. Third was Midoriya and Iida with 2 votes and so on...
Aizawa who woke up announced, "ok, 1A class representative is Hiroto Todoroki and Vice representative is Momo Yaoyorozu." Looking at them, Aisu spoke, "that's not bad. Both are top students and have incredible Quirks."
During lunchtime, everyone sat together at the cafeteria. While Iida is boasting about his brother Hero Ingenium, all of a sudden, alarm rang and an announcement came, "there has been a level 3 security breach. All students evacuate immediately."
Quickly, the hallway was packed with students in panic but everyone calmed down after learning from teachers it was just Press who illegally trespassed for AllMight. After the police came and take them away, Nezu and the other teachers frowned while looking at the school gate that was destroyed since not every average Villain has the strength to destroy the school defense system.
Back to class 1A, "So, for today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors. AllMight, me and someone else. You'll be doing rescue training today. You can decide to wear costumes or not, this time. Everyone, get into the bus," Aizawa spoke after everyone sat down in their seats.
Changing into his costume, Hiroto sat on the bus along with everyone else. Then, they started talking about each of their Quirks a little bit. While Kirishima said that his Quirk is hardening and explained it, Sero said that his Quirk is Tape, and then Asui commented, "I always say what's on my mind. Midoriya chan, your Quirk is a lot like AllMight's.
Hearing that, a few of them looked at Midoriya, then Hiroto said, "it seems I wasn't the only one to think his Quirk largely resembles AllMight's, after all. Asui san also thinks so, huh?" Asui replied, "you guys can call me Tsuyu or Tsu by short."
Then as a few of them agreed with her statement, Iida said, "now that I think about it, punching that Giant Robot in the practical test of General Entrance exam, and blasting away the floors in combat training yesterday, it does seem a lot like AllMight."
While Midoriya starting to panic, Kirishima commented, "Nah, AllMight won't injure himself, it just looks the same but will be very strong once he learns how to control it" Midoriya sighed in relief as everyone nodded. Then, Sero said, "speaking of the Quirk control, Hiroto's Quirk does seem like the strongest in the class, right?"
As everyone nodded, Hiroto replied, "c'mon, my control isn't that great. I just relied on my costume. It's all because of these clothes, these earrings and the rest of the accessories that limit my full strength and improves my control."
While Shoto thought that Hiro just won by support accessories, Aizawa who sat in the front was surprised for a second as he thought, "it isn't amplifying but restricting?" While a few who were stupified along with Bakugo to hear that he limited his power to defeat Shoto, Asui said, "so basically, if you don't wear the costume, you may end up hurting everyone around if you use your Quirk."
"Not exactly. if I use my full strength without wearing my costume, then, yes," Hiroto replied while clearing up the possible misunderstanding. Kirishima then said, "but then again, your Quirk is amazing, turning your hand into an Ice gun and that Giant Ice hands and an Ice fist. I guess your Quirk is a bit similar to Yaoyorozu's but involves Ice?"
As Hiroto was pondering whether to explain his Quirk or not, the bus stopped and Aizawa spoke, "we reached the place. Everyone, get down." As Class 1A stared at the Giant Dome from far, they were welcomed by a hero who wore a black helmet and a spacesuit designed puffy white jacket, Hero Thirteen.
"Everyone, welcome to Unforeseen Simulation Joint i.e. USJ, a training ground I made with different types of accidents and disasters. Now, for a reason, AllMight won't be with us today. Before we begin, let me say something. I'm sure everyone aware of my Quirk, Blackhole, right? I can suck up anything and turn it into dust. While I can use it to save people from disasters, it can also be used to kill people. I'm sure some of you have such powerful Quirks like that. The kind of Quirks with one mistake that can kill someone else."
As a few of them glanced at Hiroto and Shoto, Thirteen continued, "with Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out a few possibilities of hidden abilities of your Quirks and then with AllMight's combat training, I think most of you experienced the danger of using those powers against others. Remember that you don't use your powers so that you can harm others but instead you should use it to help others. I hope you will understand that by the time you finished this class. In today's class, you all will learn how to save lives with your Quirks"
While everyone nodded, all of a sudden, electricity went off and then at the fountain in the middle of the plaza, a large portal appeared and a person with several hands grabbing onto his hands and his face stepped out of it followed by several people.
