The corrupted elder dryad screamed out loud as her body and soul burned slowly as if she was being tortured.

The corrupted elder dryad knew that it was not going to succeed in this fight and decided to retreat. Before the corrupted elder dryad retreated, she released a powerful spike from her body which headed towards Adrian. This was the last-ditch attempt of the corrupted elder dryad to try and kill Adrian as she knew that he was a summoner. As long as the summoner dies, she might not need to escape with her life.
