"Should we give her the souls of the ones that I locked?" Adrian stated as he snapped his fingers and five large crosses suddenly descended from the sky.

Each of the cross were angels crucified and bound in chains with their wings also bound. They were the souls of the angels that Adrian tested his Shepherd of Lost Souls ability on. He directly caught their souls and sent them to the afterlife which is why they could not reach the Silver City to revive themselves.
