''Dr. Warner...'' Mary walked in at this moment, ''I was able to get in touch with the Director an hour ago. But because of heavy snowfall, the flights have been delayed and the Director has some unfinished work in the hospital headquarters. The meteorological administration also issued a blizzard warning for Sunday...."

She paused for a moment and noticed Maxim's expression before continuing, "The Director won't make it back before three days so he asked me to let you handle the issues in the hospital for the time being in his absence...'' 

''Discuss it with Dr. Qin,'' Maxim interrupted her. 

Mary was stunned. She hesitated for a moment, ''But the Director said you...'' 

Maxim raised a brow, ''Do it.'' 

Mary hesitated some more before she eventually nodded, ''Sure thing.'' 

When she turned to leave, Maxim spoke up, ''Where is Diana?"
