Diana did not dare to think further. 

To think that alcohol did this to him. It was surprising to her. Maxim was good at everything but now, she just discovered that...

There was indeed something he was not good at but she did not even have the chance to celebrate or tease him about it. 

When they were all living together at Ryle's place, she had seen him sipping wine occasionally during dinner. But that's it. It was only a sip or two that he took. Where he went after that? She had no idea. 

Right now, he was already drunk, and if he jumped into the river… 

''Warner, are you listening to me?" 

''So what if I listen to you? I don't want you to join me!" he said, sounding wilful.

''Why not?" Diana rushed towards the bridge while conversing with him. When he did not respond, she called out to him again, ''Warner…?"
