Bab 200: EPISODE 200: Bloom Doom!
Our eyes are set on Dracovolt City, the city filled with the spirits of dragons. After defeating admin Violet and her Genger, one of the Masked Revelation's profounding generals, Nurse Joy awarded me with another Mega Stone I could use in the Pokemon League.
Sceptilite, a mega stone that has the purpose to evolve a specific Pokemon called Sceptile. With its power here in this region, an exclusive mega move could be used. This Mega Move, if I'm not mistaken, is called Rocket Blast.
The User's large pine tree in the back is launched towards the foe, dealing an extreme amount of damage. I figured that today will be the day to see Sceptile's Mega Power.
"Alright! This will be a one on one Pokemon battle. The match ends when either sides have no longer Pokemons to battle with!" Glade, the referee of the match, proclaimed with a hig pitched tone. I've challenge Camellia today, to test Sceptile's new strength.
My cousin Kira, will be watching from the back while the match takes place. Through her observations, she could detect Sceptile's weaknesses and use it against me.
As Mega Sceptile, its head crests become more pointed with a round portion missing from the middle. Red marking surround its eyes, which become smaller and more narrow. The yellow seeds down its back grow larger. The last pair of seeds turns red, while the pair above it turns orange. Red stripes encircle the base of its tail and run across its lower belly. The leaves on its wrists become more pointed, and the upper ones have red tips and half-circles cut out of the middles. Covering its chest and shoulders are plates of leaves similar to those that form its tail. Mega Sceptile's tail grows longer and develops a red stinger at the tip. Mega Sceptile can cut off a portion of its tail to fire it like a missile at an opponent. Its lost tail will continue regenerating as long as it still has the energy required for Mega Evolution.
Sceptile is a jungle Pokémon. The seeds contain nutrients, which are said to be able to revitalize trees. It is capable of leaping freely from branch to branch. While it has the ability to slice down thick trees, it is known to care lovingly for the plants in the forest. This Pokémon regulates its body temperature by basking in sunlight.
"Delphox, let's battle right now!"
Delphox is a bipedal, fox-like Pokémon. It is covered in a coat of long fur that resembles a robe. This "robe" is primarily dark red with red-orange, flame-like markings near its knees. There is also a thin tuft of white fur on its torso, which is flanked by yellow fur draping down from its shoulders. Its forearms feature long red fur resembling sleeves, and its hands and feet are dark gray with three clawed fingers and toes, respectively. A tail covered in yellow fur protrudes from its "robe". Its head is yellow with longer white fur on its cheeks. It has red eyes and a slender snout with a pinkish nose. Three tufts of red-orange fur protrude out of each ear. When its mouth is open, two pointed teeth can be seen on its upper jaw.
"Sceptile, it's your turn to shine!"
Both sides tossed their Pokemon's Pokeball to the sky. Sceptile and Delphox descended gracefully to the ground.
"Let the battle between Camellia and Kalem finally commence!" Glade lifted his arms and proclaimed the match a start. Both Pokemons glared at each other while waiting for their respective trainers to call out moves.
"Alright Delphox, use Fire Blast now!"
"Sceptile, dodge the attack then use Dragon Claw!"
<Scep! Scep! Sceptile!>Sceptile leaps to the air, dodging the star-shaped fire attack. He slashed the foe with it sharp claws, dealing an excessive amount of damage.
"Delphox, we won't give up yet! Now use Attract!"
*Sceptile has been immobilized with love. It may be unable to attack.*
"Sceptile! Please snap out of it!" i begged with a worried heart.
"Let's make this quick and easy, use Overhear right now!"
*All of Delphox's fiery passion burst forth to my Sceptile, making her defense and special attack decline.*
"Sceptile, snap out of it!"
"Delphox, follow it up with Fire Blast!"
<Del! Delphox!>A fiery star-shaped attack burst forth once more, dealing an extreme amount of damage. Being a Psychic and Fire-type Pokemon, Delphox has the upper advantage indeed.
<Sceptile! Sceptile!>Finally, Sceptile was able to snap out of it after being rejected by the foe he fell in love with. Sceptile's anger burst forth like a powerful volcanic eruptions, hotter than the hottest flames.
"Alright Sceptile, now use Leaf Blade!"
"Dodge the attack, then follow it up with Attract once more!"
*Delphox leaped behind Sceptile!*
"Quick Sceptile, use your tail and whack Delphox to that tree! No Mercy!" I instructed hysterically.
Sceptile gave a malicious growl as his large tail whacks Delphox to one study tree causing the tree to crumble into pieces.
"Alright Sceptile! This is our opportunity, with the power of Nature will stand as one, let the melody of the rustling winds dwell in our heart! Prepare for a bloom doom, now Mega Evolve!" I chanted. Sceptile's body started to become more massive and even more feisty. His eyes glared with a passionate exuberance, while his tail spared no mercy.
"Delphox! Watch out! Use Psyshock before it's too late!"
*Even with the Psychic attack, it was unable to do a thing on Sceptile's feisty spirit. In fact, it even burned its spirit even hotter than before.*
"Sceptile! Now use Rocket Blast Right now!" I beamed with exuberance. Sceptile's tail blasts off with the speed of light. Blinding indeed, is the power of Sceptile's mega move, dealing an extreme amount of damage to the foe no matter what type it is.
"Delphox is unable to battle, which means the winner is Sceptile and Kalem!" Glade announced.
"Well what can I expect? I'm battling a future champion. At least me and Delphox were able to give our best!" Camellia, even in defeat her exhilarating spirit burst forth like a volcanic eruption. A nice battle, deserves some rest.
"Amazing Sceptile! Your power is immense. We can surely defeat Khaidra in this rate." I beamed with exuberance while Sceptile turns back into its normal state.
With today's challenge, I was able to evaluate Sceptile's mega move. Powerful, yes... powerful. Still, even with three mega stones I must not boast and be too overconfident. We still don't know what Dragons lurk inside Khaidra's Pokeballs. Hopefully they're not hard to defeat. Anyways, only a few routes await before we arrive at Meteor Town! From there, the journey to the city of dragons continues...
