Twilight struck the sky, while the land was filled with darkness. The night was young, and the moon was rare. Her children came out to play, while the oozing wind glides through the trees, shrubs, and plants. The melody of nature could bring contentment into one's heart, as somnolence and drowsiness filled man's mind.
Lurking in the twilight darkness, was no other than Axis. An influential and rich woman who values nothing but her organization and herself.
In a small dark room, with only one small lamp serving as luminosity, Axis sat down on her crimson red chair. Her Persian walked elegantly to her lap, while her grunts connected the communication networks between the regime and the Mafia.
<Gz... Gz... Match Call>
"Good evening Elanor..." Axis grinned while grooming her Persian. Her whole body and face were hidden with darkness, only her shadow and silhouette could be seen.
"Is the clone done? The boss wants results right now." Elanor demanded.
"Hee, hee. Stop acting like a boss. The clone is fully operational." Axis giggled sarcastically.
"Stop acting more superior than me. Our regime is larger than your gang of thieves. We could send a missile right away if you dare insult me again." Elanor warned.
"Hit us with your best shot. You won't have your clone if I die wouldn't you? You don't want to disappoint the king, if I die, your king's ambition dies as well."
"Hmph! Just show me the clone, and I'll transfer the money right away." Elanor demanded with a frustrated voice.
"Camellia darling, will you please come here for a second," Axis called sweetly as a young girl, with a victorian hat leaning on the wall chuckled with the same voice as the original daughter.
"What is your bidding my master?" Camellia walked flawlessly to Axis. She sat beside the boss and looked at the screen.
"Astounding... She really sounds like the original daughter. How were you able to come up with a perfect clone?" Elanor leaned her head forwards, her eyes were amazed with the clone. It looked exactly like the daughter, same voice, same look, and same posture.
"Oh it's nothing. The Camellia you see is a droid fused with the daughter's image. She may look like a human, but she has no heart, mind nor soul. Don't worry, Kalem won't figure out that she's a droid." Axis explained with a villainous voice while combing the clone's hair.
"Very well! I'll send the money right away, two grunts will pick up the droid. The flow of our plan is going well." Elanor giggled and cut off the network.
"Master... what should I do now?" The clone questioned.
"You are dismissed for now... Do what you wish to do." Axis dismissed while brushing her hair one last time. She checked her account and she was happy to see 47 Billion dollars. The regime has paid for the clone the king yearned for.
()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()
"Your majesty, the clone is complete. I have sent the transactions to her account. I have also ordered two men to pick up the droid and bring it to you." Elanor knelt down before the king and his throne.
"Perfect... I could either have the boy or his brain right away. All I need in order to gather information about Mewtwo's location is through his brain. Dead or Alive does not matter." Arville laughed villainously as the thunders came crashing down.
"Your Majesty. I shall be going right away. The boy is already near the city, he'll surely go to my gym first before exploring the city." Lunar entered the room and knelt down. She said her reason for leaving the island momentarily.
"Good... Finish him." Arville leaned his head forward and giggled with his fingers pressing against each other.
"As you wish your majesty. I shall spare no mercy against the boy." Lunar smiled and left the room.

Morning has arrived and the breeze has cooled down a bit. The People's mind filled in with bliss and happiness alongside with their Pokemons. Today, I challenged Glade to a one on one Pokemon battle to test Lucario's strength.
"Lucario, you look taller than before," Petilil uttered with amazement while leaping with joy.
"Well, I've finally evolved into my next form. Hopefully you'll evolve too." Lucario smiled while rubbing Petilil's light green hair.
"I'm going to ask my trainer to give me a sunstone! Soon, I'll be as tall as you." Petilil smiled and gleamed with joy.
"Lucario, you ready bud? It's time to battle Glade now!" I called with determination and exuberance. I entered my tent, the place where Lucario and Petilil was playing together. Riolu's playful habits remained inside of him even if he evolved.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"This will be a one on one Pokemon battle. The match ends when either side has no longer Pokemons to battle with!" Kira, the referee announced while Camellia, Shaymin, Pikachu, and Petilil cheered from the back.
"Please send out your Pokemon!" Kira instructed.
"Blastoise, you're up now!"
<Blastttttooiiissseeee!>Blastoise growled and roared loudly in hopes to intimidate the foe. Lucario wasn't intimidated, he even glared at Blastoise.
"Lucario... I choose you!"
<Lucar!>Lucario leaps into action while forming his fighting stance.
[Must record data... Must record data...] Irys the Pokedex turned herself on. She went above us and watched the whole match in case Lucario and I combine once more.
"Hey Kalem, no mega stones ok?"
"Sure Glade! A fine deal with me and Lucario. We don't need a mega stone." I boasted.
"Let this match begin right now!" Kira proclaimed loudly.
"I'll take the first move, Blastoise use Liquidation!"
<Blast Blast!>A sword formed out of water tried to slash Lucario. The foe was able to dodge the attack with a command.
"Lucario, use Copy Cat!"
<Lucario...>Lucario closed his eyes and observed Blastoise's past movements. Lucario analyzed Blastoise's previous move, he was able to channel a sword formed with the aquatic element.
"So Lucario also knows Copy Cat. I'll be aware of that. Blastoise use Giga Impact!"
"Lucario, quick! Use Force Palm and send Blastoise back!"
"Hehe, now follow it up with Liquidation!"
*Blastoise switched moves in order to distract the opponent. Liquidation is a powerful attack, it could faint any Pokemons in a matter of moves, but Lucario and I didn't give up that easily.*
"Lucario, use Vacuum wave right now!"
"Blastoise, hide inside your shell!"
*Blastoise tucked his body inside. The wind was unable to blow the shell, his weight made his shell heavier, and thus the wind only moved the shell by an inch.*
"Lucario, use force palm on shell now!"
<Lucar! Lucar! Lucar!>Lucario tried to hit Blastoise's shield with force palm but it was too sturdy and firm. Blastoise was able to withstand another attack.
"Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!"
*Blastoise targeted his pipes to Lucario. His body bashed out of the shell while a beam of strong currents came forth to Lucario.*
"Lucario, can you still stand?"
"I can Kalem, lea-"
"Blastoise quick, use Giga Impact right now!"
*Lucario was unable to finish his statement. Blastoise jumped to the sky, a veil covered Blastoise's bottom part while he descends back to Lucario. Lucario was stunned by the move, he was unable to move.*
"I guess, this was an easy win for us." Glade beamed with joy while the snow slowly dispersed throughout the sky.
<Lu... Lucario.>Lucario uttered with pain. His body was filled with scratches and scars but he stood up once more. His body was already brittle and fragile, another Giga impact could end him right away.
Lucario's heart pounded loudly. His senses and his surroundings seemed loud. He raised his head and glared at Blastoise while doing his fighting stance. Lucario taunted, "Come at me..." Confidence and determination boiled within my buddy.
[Beep Bop! Aura detected! Aura detected! It's happening again.] Irys swooped around the air with joy.
"Lucario... let's do this!" I beamed with determination and enthusiasm. I felt the connection I've felt yesterday. It was like our body and mind were colliding and clashing with each other.
"Hey... I said no Mega Evolving." Glade and Blastoise started to shiver with fear while watching Lucario glow.
Lucario's eyes turned crimson red. A fiery passion burned inside of him, while his thorns on his claws and chest grew sharper and taller. His tail became larger and more smooth.
"This isn't a mega evolution Glade... I know how Lucario looks when he mega evolves. He should have crimson black things hanging behind his head. It is the same Lucario, but more powerful." Kira beamed with awe.
"Lucario's heart has combined with his trainer, as so as his soul and mind. Kalem and Lucario are in one body." Kira explained.
"How can that be!?" Glade questioned while scratching his head.
"Lucario, each of us holds the key, to the power of one!" I chanted loudly while Lucario followed my actions.
"B... Blastoise, use Hydropump right now!" Glade was intimidated by Lucario. His red eyes were too much to bear.
"Lucario, dodge it then use Aura Sphere!"
<Lucar! Lucar!>Lucar dodges the attack swiftly. He unleashed a larger Aura Sphere, filled with raw power and emotions.
<Blastoise!>Blastoise was succumbed by the large aura sphere. Numerous scratches formed on Blastoise's skin.
"Blastoise use Liquidation right now!" Glade commanded.
<Blast! Blast!>Lucario was sliced by the sword formed out of water. I felt Lucario's pain and discomfort. It was like Blastoise was also using Liquidation on me.
"Kalem are you alright!?" Kira stood up from the chair while holding her Pikachu.
"I'm fine Camellia... Lucario, use Force Palm right now!"
"Kalem and Lucario are in sync. Whatever Lucario feels, Kalem feels." Kira uttered to her mind while watching the battle.
"Blastoise into your shell!"
<Blastoise!>Blastoise tucked his body and limbs unto his shell once more.
"Go Lucario, hit the... hit the shell!" I instructed. I tried to keep up but my body was starting to lose energy. I could also see Lucario gasping for air.
*Blastoise's shell was blasted back to a tree.*
"How did Lucario's attack strengthen all of a sudden!? Blastoise, I know you can do this! Use Hydro Pump!"
"Lucario, dodge the attack, then finish Blastoise with Vacuum wave!"
*The sky turned to gloom and dark as strong winds circulated around Lucario.*
[My hypothesis is correct! Lucario can change the weather.] Irys beamed with joy while taking photos of the occurrences happening right now.
"That's not a Vacuum wave... that looks like a tornado to me." Glade and Blastoise shivered with fear. They could see Lucario's red glowing eyes inside the tornado.
"GO... go Lucario!" I uttered softly while my body's energy rapidly decreased.
<Luc... Lucario!>Lucario's energy rapidly decreased as well. He was unable to unleash the move in time and descended back to the ground. The tornado dispersed while the sky turned back to normal.
My body collapsed again like yesterday. Lucario's claws shrank as his power returned to normal.
"This match is over!" Kira proclaimed.
"Kalem, what happened!?" Glade returned Blastoise to his Pokeball and gushed towards me. He leaned my body across a tall and firm tree.
"Ouch... my head hurts," I uttered with a brittle voice as my sight and consciousness returned to normal a few minutes after my collapse.
"Kalem! What happened back there?" Camellia questioned with worry.
"Is Lucario doing good?" I questioned with a brittle and fragile voice.
"Cousin, your Pokemon is fine. He's in your tent and is currently sleeping. What happened to you?"
"I saw it with my own eyes, when my Blastoise used Liquidation, it was like you were also hit by the move."
"It just happened recently. I don't know what it's called, but, me and Lucario's spirit merged as one. I was able to feel and see whatever Lucario feels and sees, but in return, my body's energy would decrease rapidly. Irys told me that if I get used to it, my body would adapt." I explained softly.
"I've heard a phenomenon like that in the Kalos region, but I'm sure that it only happens between trainers and their Greninjas," Kira added.
"That's what Irys told me too, but it happened with me and Lucario. Irys told me that my bond with Lucario is excellent. It is the bond that matters, and not the Pokemon classification.
Irys also told me, that if I get used to it, I could command Lucario and my body to sync whenever I want to. For now, I'm not used to it, but we'll surely learn and adapt as time goes by." I smiled at my friends while explaining what my Pokedex told me last night.
"If I were you Kalem, I would stick to mega evolving instead. If you continue to do this, then you'll continue to hurt your body." Camellia suggested.
"I don't want to give up. Me and Lucario will grow stronger and closer, and soon, our bodies will be able to adapt to the power of one!" I beamed with determination.
My battle between Glade ended up in a draw. There are a lot of things for me and Lucario to learn, but one thing's for sure, when we fall, we'll rise again! If Lucario and I could harness the power of one with ease, who knows? Maybe surpassing the Pokemon League would be easy, but I cannot make mere assumptions. Me and Lucario couldn't even control the power, and only four moths remain before the Pokemon League begins...
