Bab 167: EPISODE 167: The Princess with a Steel Hard Will!
Twilight has rise. The moon is on its perfect glory once more, while the wind succumbs to the city. My heart clobbers loudly while a cold sweat fell through my face. My hands shiver and tremble, while my eyes gave an apprehensive look.
Tonight, I shall finally challenge Princess Thalia of Aulmurus city. A large crowd, and an intense battle is what I expect. A six on six Pokemon battle has been set between me and the princess. In front of her and the crowd, I shall prove how strong I am, how powerful my Pokemons are.

DRAGONAIR] This is my current team, and this will be the team I'll be using against Thalia's steel type Pokemons. Most of them are disadvantages against steel type Pokemons, but just like what they say, type disadvantages don't matter as long as your bond with your Pokemon is strong.
"Kalem, I never knew that you could be sad?" Shaymin glanced at me and observed my looks.
"I'm not sad Shaymin. I'm worried. Out there lies a big crowd cheering for both sides. I remember my gym battle on Photia-heart city, I lost once due to the crowd's distraction. My confidence declined as I lost control over my mind." I explained with a trembling voice.
Professor Bellice and Professor Indigo will also be observing the match. By battling Thalia, professor Bellice can evaluate my trust towards my Pokemon and their trust towards me.
In the lobby of the colosseum, large noises could be heard as I watch a challenger battle against the princess. My friends were instructed to choose a seat alongside with Shaymin the professors. They'll be cheering loudly cheering for me.
"The match goes to princess Thalia!" Sir Efron, the referee of the match announced as the trainer who lost rushed towards his fainted Pokemon. The crowd cheered ferally for the princess. Cameras, flashing lights, commotions, and noises all serve as a distraction. The princess's neck was protected with a red gorget. A golden spaulder protected the shoulders while an Arm harness protected the princess's arms and limbs. Yes, the princess was wearing a red knight armor, except that she doesn't have a helmet.
The golden spaulder on her shoulders gave an extra touch to the armor. While the Pummel on her sword bears her signature Pokemon. The princess also had a blue cape, it flapped majestically in front of the people, it had a white cross on the center. Truly, this princess has a steel-hard will.
"Camellia... all these lights are making me uncomfortable," Shaymin complained while shivering with fear.
"Don't worry Shaymin, just stay with me and you'll be fine." Camellia comforted and solaced as the lights continued to flash glamorously.
"For our next challenger, a young man from Aulburg town, with currently five badges... Let's give it up for Kalem!" Sir Efron announced as the lights pointed at me.
Me and Riolu tried to walk with confidence, but our enthusiasm wasn't hard as metal. I was in the spotlight for almost a minute. Camera flashes, lustrous lights, and tons of people gave me and Riolu a heart shift. It was like our heart suddenly stopped for a second.
"Trainer Kalem, shall be challenging the princess on a six on six match. If the trainer triumphs over the princess's steel-hard will, he and his Pokemons shall be awarded with the Jewel badge." Sir Efron explained loudly. On the center of the stadium was a large Pokeball symbol, while two large screens hang over the two sides of the colosseum.
"The screen shall display all the Pokemons they'll be using. The battle ends when either side has no longer Pokemons to battle with! Guards, lock the entrance and exit!" Sir Efron beamed loudly and instructed firmly. Two knights rushed to the entrance of the battle platform and pointed their two spears at each other which formed an X symbol.
Two knights also did the same on the princess's entrance and exit.
"When I first saw you, I thought you were a confident boy. Looks to me, you shiver as well." Thalia giggled.
"Just wait, I'll prove to you how confident I am!" I beamed with determination but with only a few percent of excitement.
"I'm gonna warn you. My Pokemons are harder than steel! Beware, one of them can mega-evolve." Thalia cautioned.
"Don't worry. My Pokemons could also mega evolve. Me and my Pokemons may not be harder than steel, but our fiery passion will melt down your Pokemons."
"I'd like to see that! Hehe, let's give the crowd a good show!" Thalia flared with passion and stepped back to her corner.
"Trainer Kalem, please step back to the other corner." Sir Efron instructed.
"Is this a gym battle?" Shaymin questioned Bellice while sitting down worriedly.
"Yes. A gym leader like Thalia tests the trainer's focus and concentration. Will Kalem give in to the crowd's attention? We'll find out." Professor Bellice explained while rubbing Shaymin's head.
"Kalem looks worried. He's hands are also shivering." Shaymin's voice trembled with worry while watching me walk to the other corner.
"Kalem's been to many matches but I don't know why he's worried." Professor Belllice wondered.
"He's not worried. Kalem is afraid to lose, he's afraid to face embarrassment and remorse." Professor Indigo interrupted while observing my movements.

"Please send out your first Pokemon!" Sir Efron instructed.
"Dragonair, you're up first!"
"Aegislash, with the heart of metal you shall fight with me!"
Both sides tossed their Pokeballs to the sky. Each Pokemon glared at each other, they didn't focus on the crowd only on their self, and on their opponent. The screen showed a picture of the two Pokemons, with their trainers on the side.
"Of course, a royal princess with royal Pokemons. What could I expect?" My voice trembled with worry after recalling how fast Aegislashes could be. These Pokemons reassembles a sword, which knights or even kings use for battling.
"Let the battle commence!" Sir Efron proclaimed as a go sign was demonstrated on screen.

"Aegislash, dodge the attack then use Sword Dance!"
*Aegislash's speed was incredible. It was like my Scizor who seemed to be teleporting when dodging an attack.*
"Woah that's fast." I beamed with worry as Aegislash's attack rose sharply.
"Now use Iron Head on Dragonair!"
"Dragonair, use Dragon Rage as Aegislash travels towards you!"
*Aegislash resisted the attack!*

"Ah!? Dragonair, we won't give up yet! Use Ice Beam on Aegislash!"
"Great, now Kalem is saying random moves again just like what he did on Photia-heart city." Glade sighed and uttered sarcastically.
"Kalem focus!" Camellia shouted.
"Haven't you learned how fast Aegislash is? Dodge it quick!"
"I forgot... Come on brain, focus!" I beamed with frustration while the crowd's noise and cheers began to surge loudly.
"Aegislash, now use Iron Head again!"
"Kalem, focus! Focus!" Riolu shouted and cheered from behind.
"Focus, right! Dragonair, form a loop to dodge the attack!"
*Aegislashed passed through the loop and it's attack missed Dragonair.*
"Great now use Dragon Tail on Aegislash!"
*Dragonair's tail turned violet and whacked Aegislash back to its trainer.*

"Reflect it with King's shield!"
*Aegislash's shield blocked and protected the attack. Its lustrous coating sent the attack back to Dragonair, in other words, it backlashed.*

*A silhouette appeared behind Dragonair and attacked from behind.*

"It looks to me that Kalem got distracted again," Indigo observed and watched the match.
"Is Kalem losing?" Shaymin questioned.
"It's too early to assume," Camellia uttered softly.
"Dragonair, um... use, use..."
"Aegislash, now use Iron Head!"
"Kalem what do you want me to use?" Dragonair questioned as the attack came forth.
"Um... Um... use, Dragon Rage!" I commanded.
*Dragonair, knowing that Dragon rage wouldn't work still trusted me. Aegislash penetrated the attack again.*

"Kalem I don't know how to use that!"
"Oh right. I forgot. Use Ice beam!"
"Aegislash, dodge the attack please then use Shadow sneak!"
"Quick Dragonair, look behind then use Hydropump quickly!"
*Hydro pump did nothing to the shadow.*
"Kalem, you've been to Fantasma city right? Shadows do not have life." Thalia giggled.

"Come on focus..." I encouraged myself while thinking of strategies.
"Aegislash, use Iron Head once more!"
"That's it! Dragonair, use Ice Beam on Aegislash's eye!"
*Aegislash's eye was completely blocked and frozen. The foe lost navigation, and therefore the attack missed.*
"That's it Kalem! Keep it up." Glade cheered loudly alongside with a few people belonging to the crowd/

*Dragonair's grip was too tight. It was unable to escape from Dragonair's grip, therefore the attack was able to hit the foe.*

*Dragonair was attacked from behind! It got distracted as Aegislash escapes her grip.*

*From Iron head, Aegislash switched moves. Dragonair got distracted as a shadow attacked her from behind.*

"Thank you Dragonair. Now have a nice rest. Mawile, debut now!"
"Dragonair lost. Does that mean Kalem is losing?" Shaymin questioned with worry.
"No not quite. Kalem still has five Pokemons. Don't worry." Professor Indigo consoled while Shaymin cheered for me and my Pokemons.

*Aegislash was able to finish Sword dance just in time. Before fire fang was able to hit, the foe dodged right away.*

"It doesn't matter! Mawile, use Fire Fang again!"

*The shadow punched Mawile from the back!*

"Mawile dodge it right away!"
*Mawile was unable to react quickly.*

*Mawile punched Aegislash's shield with all her might. Ice started to surpass the shield! The foe blasted back to its trainer.*
"Ah!? How could Ice punch surpass King's shield?" Princess Thalia wondered with surprise.
"Me and Mawile has been training hard! Now follow it up with Fire Fang!"
"Aegislash dodge the attack then use Iron Head again!"
*Aegislash was able to dodge the attack on time!*

*The dust entered Mawile's eye and irritated her, therefore her attack was canceled.*

"Mawile... stay strong!" I begged while Mawile tried to stand up. Her body was filled with scratches and scars as a shadow punched her from behind. Mawile did her best to stand up once more.

*Ice spikes rose from the ground which served as a barrier against Aegislash's move.*

"Mawile, is unable to battle! Trainer Kalem, please send out your next Pokemon!" Sire Efron instructed.
"Kalem go! Kalem go!" Shaymin cheered as loud as she can.
"Two knocked out Pokemons right from the start. This isn't going to end well, I think." Professor Indigo hypothesized.
"No, Kalem still has a chance to win. Kalem's confidence is starting to rise." Camellia observed and declined the professor's hypothesis.
"Glaceon, come out right now!"
"Aegislash, stay firm!"
"Let the battle continue..." Sir Efron commenced as the crowd's attention went to Thalia.
"Aegislash, use Iron Head!"
"Stop the attack with attract!"
*Aegislash was immobilized with love. It was unable to pursue his trainer's command.*
"Now finish Aegislash with Icicle spear!"
*Five Ice shards crashed unto Aegislash. The foe was unable to snap out of love.*

"Let the Battle Continue!" Sir Efron proclaimed.

"Glaceon, use Ice Fang on the wing!"
*Skarmory's wing suddenly froze! The ice added weight unto its wings, therefore it could no longer fly.*
"I see what you're doing. Trying to add pressure by keeping this match a ground battle huh? Skarmory, use Flash Cannon right now!"
"Glaceon, dodge the attack then use double edge!"
"Hee hee..." Glaceon giggled and dodged the attack elegantly.
"Glaceon, now use Icicle spear on Skarmory!"
*Skarmory was hit four times!*

*Glaceon traveled on a zig-zag direction to dodge the foe's attack. Even without commanding her, Glaceon was smart enough to dodge it by herself.*

<Glace! Glaceon!> Suddenly, a large Icy rock descended from the sky. Snow fell down alongside the large icy rock.
"No way! Glaceon learned Avalanche." Thalia started to panic.
