He made sure to aim his attacks expertly, to carve at the wounds already present. But where the tiangou had gone made with anger and annoyance, now it seemed to treat Liu Sumeng' actions as nothing more than a mere nuisance, a fly to be swatted away.

It did not help that each wound that was drawn into the beast's flesh seemed to be healing at a rapid rate.
