Bab 221: Swarm of red

The time elapsed was long enough for Chu Mirong to contemplate each mistake she ever made and every regret born out of stupid decisions.

She frowned, her cheeks hurting from the swarm of darkness that was slowly but surely invading her mind.

She was not an ordinarily negative person and did not think twice about the mistakes committed from her own foolishness. After all, she was the type of person to take things by stride and mull through life from one point to the next.

And yet, she found herself doubting herself, wondering if she had indeed made the right choice for something down into these caverns in the first place. They had already amassed so many powerful allies, was there really a need for more?

In front of her, the Ivory Sword Saint continued onwards, marching on with even strides his shoulders and spine straight. He showed no signs of hesitation. There was no stutter in his steps or quiver in his breath.
