Bab 468: We Take The War To Fortland

For the elves, they had waited as Regin had advised and now, it was time. They all knew now that Astrid had returned. It was no hidden news and it was either they prepared for battle or sit and wait while Fortland brought the battle to them.

In all, no one wanted to be the one to be taken by surprise and everyone prepared themselves.

By the next morning, everyone gathered in waiting for the king to address them. All the princes, princess and Aubrey as well as Queen Aelinor assembled and stood at either side of the king as he watched his armies from where he stood, above all.

"It is with great honour that I stand before you all to say this, good morning soldiers."

"Morning, your majesty!" they roared in response.
