"I didn't agree to this alliance to hunt demons," he states in a neutral tone, not masking his disapproval.

"They are your enemies too!" Kael asserts forcefully.

Joel, who usually disagrees with the young Light God, finds himself aligned with him this time. "You want to gain resources so your father doesn't see you as a worthless prince... but if the Seven Sins obstruct our path, what's the harm in crushing them together?"

Vihaan bristles at being referred to as a useless prince, but given that he's currently less favored by his father compared to his elder siblings, this alliance indeed serves to enhance his standing among his kind.
