*ANDREW WILTON'S POV*
The place seems quiet and happy. I look around and go outside to check if there's a rescuer already. But I didn't found any.
I went back to the tent and I watch Mlaire snoring.
I remember what happened last night and I can't help not to smile. D*mn! I'm acting like a high school kid.
"Even if you didn't comb your hair... still, you're beautiful." I slowly closed my eyes, memorizing her face and every detail of this woman.
After this, I don't know what will happen for the two of us. Alam kong lalayo si Mlaire sa akin but I will make sure na hinding hindi 'yon mangyayari. Not now nor never!
"Hmm. Good morning!" She slightly open her eyes and greeted me.
"Hey! Good morning too. Napuyat ka ata?" I tease her.
"Hmm. Yeah. Ang lambot kasi ng unan ko." She look at me while biting her lower lips.
D*mn! Not now, masyadong maaga at masyadong mabilis kung bibigay ako ngayon sa charm niya.
"Hey, lady! Get up and stop with your silly jokes." I help her to get up cause she's scaring the h*ll of out of me.
"Hahahaha Coward but handsome." She smirks.
"Here. Take it as our breakfast, wala na kasing natira bukod dito." I give Mlaire two packs of chocolate. For sure, mauubos niya iyon kaagad.
"Nice. Thank you for this, Andrew." She opened the pack of chocolate and she eat it. Lumabas ito ng tent at bahagyang pinagmasdan ang paligid.
I follow her and when she saw me, Mlaire smile at me.
"This place is beautiful! Right Andrew?" Mlaire seems so amazed with the scenery. Mismo ako, napahanga aa ganda ng isla na ito.
"Hmm. Yes." I put my hands on her waist and I lend on her shoulder.
"Hmmm. You're doing great, Andrew." She uttered.
Nanatili kami sa ganung posisyon when she broke the silence between us.
"Andrew?" Kumalas siya sa yakap ko at marahang itinaas ang mukha ko.
"Yes?" I smiled at her. Tiningnan ko siya sa kanyang mga mata at ang tangung nakikita ko ay ang pag-aalala.
"Anong gagawin natin when we get back in Manila? Hindi ko kayang magsinungaling at hindi ko kayang may masaktan because of us." Mlaire exclaimed out of nowhere.
"Shhh. Hindi bat' napag-usapan na natin ito Mlaire. I'll tell Alexa everything when I get a chance to do so. Don't worry, I'll do everything for us. This time I' ll fight this love, Mlaire and I'll make sure that everything will be okay. Okay?" I reassured Mlaire. Wala naman siyang dapat na ikabahala sa ngayon.
Medyo kumalma siya nang hawakan ko ang kanyang mga pisngi.
"I'll trust in you, Andrew." She cup my face while looking at me.
I don't know, pero sa tuwing tumitingin siya sakin di ko maiwasang hindi siya titigan ng matagal.
Without any hesitation, I kiss her lips.
I see her closing her eyes and little by little she's responding with my kisses.
"Hmm." She moaned between our kiss.
"I love you, Mlaire. From the moment I met you until now, its always you." I said it from my heart.
She hugs me tightly and I feel something wet in my shoulder.
"I love... you too, Andrew." I knew it, she's crying now in my shoulder. She say those words between her sobs and it makes me smile.
D*am! Ito pala ang pakiramdam kapag inlove ka.
"Shhh. Tahan na, Mlaire. I'm always here for you." I wipe her tears away and I hug her for the nth time.
Nang mahimasmasan ay napag desisyunan naming bumalik ng tent. Pero hindi pa man din kami nakakalayo ay may narinig kaming malakas na tunog ng barko.
"It must be the rescue team, Mlaire. Let's act that we hate each other, for sure Alexa is in that boat." I help her to compose herself again.
She just smiled at me.
Palapit ng palapit ang malakas na tunog sa baybayin. Before we start our acting session we look at each other for the nth time, and I nodded.
She runs back to the shore and she shouted.
"Help! Help me! Heeeeeelp!" She's acting like a pro. Kaya't di ko maiwasang matawa dito sa kinatatayuan ko sa mga pinaggagawa namin ni Mlaire.
Tuluyan nang nakadaong ang barko sa baybayin at isa isang nagsilabasan ang mga rescuer.
Tumakbo ako palapit sa barko at doon ko nakita si Alexa. Mabilis itong bumaba ng barko at patakbong tinahak ang kinatatayuan ko.
Mlaire just watch me while the rescuer giving her a towel.
"Andrewwwww! God, what happened to you?!" Alexa asks me and I know she's so worried about me.
"Shhh. Don't worry about me Alexa, I'm fine. Okay?" I hug her. Baka ano pang mangyari sa baby namin sa sobrang pag-aalala niya.
"How come, na napadpad kayo sa lugar na'to? Goodness. Me and your family are so worried, Andrew!" Alexa starting to be exaggerating.
"I... I don't know! It's an accident, okay? Ang importante ngayon, ay ang makauwi ako sa Manila. Don't worry Alexa, baka mapano ang baby natin." I try to calm her down. At kahit papaano ay hindi siya magduda.
"Wait. Who's that girl? Siya ba yong sinasabi ni Karessa na kasama mo sa yate nung mawala ka sa party?" Sh*t!
Alexa walks so fast even if she's pregnant. Papunta siya sa kinaroroonan ni Mlaire.
Mlaire is not aware cause she's busy sipping her coffee given by the rescuer earlier.
"Alexa! Stop it!" I try to stop Alexa but she is too hard-headed.
"Who are you? Siguro nilandi mo ang boyfriend ko sa mga araw na napadpad kayo dito sa isla." Alexa throws unnecessary accusations to Mlaire but Mlaire is so calm.
"Wait. Are you talking to me?" Mlaire raise her eyebrows.
"Don't try to fool me. Hindi mo ba ako kilala huh? Tumingin ka nga sa akin ng diretso babaeng haliparot!" I don't like how Alexa talk to Mlaire.
"Alexa! Please stop it! Wala namang may gusto nito and for pete's sake hindi niya ako nilalandi!" Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa pulsuan ni Alexa pero kumawala pa rin ito.
When Mlaire turn her gaze to Alexa, Alexa seemed so shock when she fully see the face of the girl she's shouting at.
"Mlaire Villachin?" Alexa must not be guessing. I tried to stop her pero matigas ang ulo niya.
"Yes. You look so frightened, my dear. Anyway, for your information, hindi ko nilalandi yang boyfriend mo at isa pa hindi ako pumapatol sa mga tira tira. I'm not cheap like you, Alexa!" Mahinahon pero madiing sinagot ni Mlaire si Alexa.
Bago pa magka gulo inawat ko na si Alexa. Akala ko titigil na siya pero bigla niyang sinabunutan si Mlaire.
"What the hell is your problem?!" Mlaire shouted at Alexa. I know she's controlling her anger.
"Ikaw! Ikaw ang problema ko! Why? All of the people, ikaw pa talaga ang nakasama ni Andrew dito? I know everything happened to the both of you. You were trapped with Andrew's action because you're weak!" Alexa says too much. Masyadong sagad ang mga bagay na iyon para kay Mlaire.
"You don't know my story. Kaya huwag kang umakto na parang alam mo ang lahat. Mess up with me Alexa, and you'll see the monster in me that you wish you never see it in your entire life." That was unbelievable. Mlaire looks so different, para siyang ibang tao habang nagsasalita.
Sasagot pa sana si Alexa but I grab her wrist.
"Ano ba Alexa! I said stop this nonsense. Hindi ka ba nahihiya, maraming tao sa paligid. Act as a woman not a girl." Inubos na ang pasensya ko ni Alexa.
"Let go of me, Andrew! Hindi pa ako tapos sa babaeng malandi na yon." She's really getting into my nerves.
"Sir Andrew, clear na po ang area. Pwede na po tayong bumalik sa isla." Sambit ng isang rescuer.
"Okay. Thank you for cooperating." Aniya ko.
"Let's go, Alexa." Tinulungan ko siyang makasampa sa barko, inalalayan ko ito dahil nahihilo raw siya.
Nakasunod naman sa amin si Mlaire at ang mga rescuers.
"Sit down here." Pinaupo ko muna si Alexa bago ako baka mapano pa 'to.
"I'm sorry babe. I'm worried about you, kung kumakain ka ba, nauulanan ka ba. Hmm." Alexa turns to a caring girlfriend. Ganito naman siya nung una pero habang tumatagal nagiging selosa siya.
"Hey! I'm fine, maraming pagkain sa yate at hindi ako naulanan. Okay?" I assured Alexa that I'm fine, para tumigil na siya.
"I'm sleepy. Dito ka lang sa tabi ko." Alexa hugs me and I nodded as my response.
I'm silently looking at Mlaire but she's sleeping too. How I wish na ako ang katabi niya ngayon.
"Sir, gusto niyo po ba ng kape?" A mid-50s lady offers me.
"Ahh yes po. Salamat." The lady smiled at me. Akala ko aalis na siya but she looks at Mlaire too.
"Ang ganda niya. Hindi ba, Sir?" Nawala ang antok at pagod ko ng magsalita ang matanda.
"Oo naman. Andrew na lang po, huwag na sir." She's older than me kaya't hindi maganda na tinatawag niya akong Sir.
"Naalala ko kasi ang panganay ko. Pero wala na siya eh, namatay siya isang taon na ang nakakalipas." Naging malungkot ang boses ng Ali at kita ito sa kanyang mga mata ang ulilala.
"Kung hindi niyo po mamasamain, ano po ang ikinamatay ng anak ninyo?" Hindi ko alam kung bakit bigla kong natanong iyon.
"Pag-ibig. Namatay diya nang dahil sa pag-ibig. Sige Andrew, ipagtitimpla muna kita ng kape." Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. Nakakaawa naman ang anak ni Manang.
Hindi rin nagtagal at bumalik si Ali na may dalang kape. Nagpasalamat ako at bumalik rin ito sa pwesto niya.
Humigop ako ng kape para naman mainitan ang tiyan ko.
It'll be a long ride, makaidlip nga muna.

"Andrew, nandito na tayo sa resort." Naalimpungatan ako nang magsalita si Alexia.
"Hey! Nahihilo ka pa ba?" I'm just worried about Alexia's condition.
"I'm fine now. So, don't you worry. Okay na kami ni baby." She caress her tummy while talking to our baby.
I sigh in relief that Alexia is okay.
Nakaw-tingin kong tiningnan ang kinauupuan ni Mlaire kanina at naaktuhan ko itong nakatingin rin sakin.
She look away when Alexia hold my arm.
"Sinong tinitingnan mo diyan, huh?!" Nandito na naman tayo.
"Alexia, please! I'm tired, huwag naman tayo mag-away dito at wala akong tinitingnan. Kaya, let's go." Inalalayan kong bumaba ng barko si Alexia at di ko na makuhang lumingon pa.
"Babe, I'm sorry for what I did earlier. Siguro, nadala lang ako dahil na rin sa pagbubuntis ko." Alexia apologize.
"I know. But, please sa susunod maging kalmado ka naman at huwag basta bastang mag iiskandalo. I'm just protecting you and our baby." I caress her tummy at bigla itong sumipa na ikinatuwa ko.
" Oh! Our baby is kicking!" I exclaimed.
"Woooahh! I felt it too." Alexia replied.
"Let's go to the hotel, so we can go back to Manila." I assists her to walk to our room. Hindi naman masyadong malayo.
Marami ang nagtatanong kung ano ang nangyari pero ipinagbawal ko muna ang mga reporters. For sure, it'll be viral on social media.
I'm about to open the door when I hear such a loud voice.
"Andrea! Andrea!" We both roam our eyesight where the sound coming from. I didn't notice that two rooms ahead from my room is Mlaire's room.
D*mned that Zerale!
"Hey, young lady! Are you fine? Are... are you hungry? What the heck happened? Andr-." Napatigil sa pagsasalita si Zerale ng biglang sipain ni Mlaire ang pinto ng kwarto niya. Tumingin ito ng diretso kay Zerale at seryosong seryoso ang mukha.
"Don't bother Zerale. I can be with my own. Thank you for your concern, I'm tired and I want to rest. Sorry." Mlaire glare at me one more time and she seems pissed off.
Walang ibang nagawa si Zerale kundi ang umalis sa hotel.
But, what the f*ck? Ano na naman bang ginawa ko?! Goodness! Mga babae talaga, ang lakas magkatoyo.
"Andrew!" Nahimasmasan ako ng sigawan ako ni Alexia. F*ck! Nababaliwa na yata ako.
"Tara na sa loob. I'm hungry!" Wala akong ginawa kundi ang tumango lang. Iniisip ko pa rin kasi kung bakit ganun ang inasta ni Mlaire kanina.
"Hayy! Baby sorry napagod ata kita, si Daddy kasi kailangan nating hanapin. Don't worry Daddy is fine now." I look at Alexia, she's changing lately. Kung nagagalit siya eh biglang mag sosorry pero noon ako pa ang gumagawa ng paraan kahit siya naman ang may mali.
What's happening? Bulong ko sa hangin.
"Alexia, what do you want to eat?" I want to prepare something for our baby, for sure he'll gonna love it.
"Vege salad Daddy! Thank you sabi ni baby." Alexia shouted from the sala. Rinig ko pa ang kdramang paborito niyang panoorin.
Dali dali ko naman ginawa ang gusto ni baby at inihatid ko na kaagad.
"Here Alexia. Eat well huh." She just nodded and eat the food while looking at the screen.
Ya. Every woman now are addicted with that word oppa? I guess so.
I wanted to rest but I can't. Just the thought of Mlaire is angry at me. Well, I'm not that sure but I have this feeling.
I don't know what to do. I want to go to her. Hug her. Talk to her. Ask her what's wrong.
I'm crazy now. I'm literally crazy.
I check Alexia if she's still watching. Well, she's sleeping at the couch.
Inayos ko ng mabilis ang kama at marahang kinarga si Alexia. Goodness! She's a little bit heavy now.
I kiss her forehead before leaving.
"Sleep well Alexia. I'll be at the shore, call me when you're awake." -Andrew
Iniwan ko yung sticky note sa mini table for her to read it as soon as she wake up.
But the real reason is that I miss Mlaire so much. Naaatat na akong makita siya.
I took up a quick bath and hurriedly change my clothes. I almost forgot my phone because of excitement.
Just relax Andrew Wilton. Be serious. Be patient.
I look at the mirror, combing my hair. Checking everything in my face. As in everything down to my shoes.
F*ck this feeling! But I can do it.
I slowly lock the door, trying to avoid causing such noise.
I seriously walk towards Mlaire's room. Everything is fine. Walang tao sa hallway but there's a cctv. Well, I don't care and I don't give a damn onto this.
I'm about to knock when the door suddenly open and I saw her wrapped with a piece of white towel.
"What the f*ck!" That's a lame reaction. D*mn Mlaire! You're making me... you're making me think of nonsense.
I immediately turn around, trying not to see her flawless body and her reaction is priceless as mine.
"Sh*t! For pete's sake Andrew Wilton! What are you doing in here?" She slammed the door and I left blushing.
Yes! I feel something hot. Stop it Andrew! Convincing my mind to act normally.
I waited her to change up. I look like a bodyguard now, waiting my boss patiently.
I'm busy counting the rooms and I'm tired of waiting. Without any thought I knock at the door and luckily she's done.
"What takes you so long to change up? " I glared at her sharply.
"You don't care Andrew Wilton! Why are you here? Baka may makakita sayo!" She shouted at me with exaggerating actions.
"Calm down Mlaire. I'm so... sorry if I came here. I just... I just missed you." I look at her eyes. I see everything in it.
Mlaire move backward, it seems she doesn't know what to do and what to say. Maybe I caught her guard off.
Hmmm. I have a better plan, let's see kung magtataray pa siya sakin gaya nung ginawa niya lately.
"What are you doing Andrew?! GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM, NOW!" Aha! She's nowhere to hide from me now. I put my arms in the wall guarding her not to escape.
"I told you Mlaire, I missed you." I look at her face down to her lips. That sweet red lips.
"Just let me go, Andrew. I can't... I can't do this. I... I mean, what about Alexia?" She sobs like an angel. I can't watch her crying.
"Shhh, stop crying Mlaire. I promise, as soon as we go back to Manila I'll tell Alexia about us. Okay? I promise." I kiss her forehead gently and wipe her tears away.
I'll keep my promise Mlaire. This time, I will fight for us.
"I trust you anyway. Sorry for my actions. I never think of ruining your relationship with Alexia. You know me very well." Mlaire explained with sincerity in her eyes. Well, I'm not listening to the words her saying.
I stayed quiet and vulnerable. Slowly, I put her hands on my shoulders.
"Are you still mad at me? I can't rest because I'm thinking of what made you angry at me. Can you tell me why, Mlaire?" Looking at Mlaire's eyes makes me more weak. She look away but I try to meet her gaze again and I win.
She breathes heavily and feeling tense.
I watch Mlaire closing her eyes. We both hear our hearts beating so damn fast.
"I'm jealous." Mlaire look at me sharply.
I just smirk at her. Mlaire pouted and she raised her eyebrows.
We remains quiet. Waiting for her signal.
Tug! Tug! Tug! That's what we only hear.
I can't wait any longer anymore.
I kiss her lips that makes her eyes widen, she was about to escape but I gently put my hands around her waist.
I think it works out. Mlaire slowly close her eyes, holding tight in my shoulders.
I miss her so damn much that I can't refuse not to close my eyes too. I want to memorize even the smallest detail just like this.
It lasted for how many minutes. It was simple, very simple but sweet.
"I love you Mlaire. Every minute, I'll tell you that." I caress her soft but pale face. Her eyes seems wet again.
Come on! Iyakin talaga mga babae.
She must be tired and exhausted.
"I love you too, Andrew." Mlaire wipes her tears and look at me oddly. Like a flash, she kiss me on my lips and run so fast.
D*mn! I can't help not to smile. F*ck Mlaire, what you're doing to me?
I can hear my hearbeat and it's beating irregularly.
This must be the love that I'm praying for the longest time.
"ANDREW WILTON, COME OVER HERE! I COOKED SOMETHING FOR YA!" Mlaire shouted from the kitchen.
I came back to my senses because of her voice. She must be tired, she needs to rest.
I'm still smiling. Oh God, I thank you for all of this.
"Coming!" I exclaimed.
From a far, I see Mlaire smiled at me.
I love you Mlaire. I'll do everything for us.
