"How many times do I have to tell that I had no involvement in what happened then?" I let out an annoyed reply which was followed by a frustrated groan.
"As far as I could recall, you hated me back then." Aden mumbled softly as he followed me. "How can I not doubt you?"
We were on our way back to the campus after getting done with our late lunches, and he seemed to me not getting over the fact that it was Squeaky who had popped on his head a day before his game, the one to which he invited me in peace.
He seemed to be doubting me, the girl who had shared it with him as soon as she recalled. And he was bold enough to accuse me that I had some sort of involvement in the whole fiasco.
"I didn't actually hate you back then." I muttered out as I continued to walk ahead of him.
"You mean to say that you liked me back then too, and you were only pretending to hate me." He spoke up.
