"Since Qin Zhan is not around, then I'll stay over and look after you," Lin Qiao said. Without waiting for Gu Xin Ye to reply, Lin Qiao walked to the sofa at the side and placed her bag. 

Then, Lin Qiao started to make herself busy by helping Gu Xin Ye to pour some water.

She was not going to allow Gu Xin Ye to kick her out.

The two of them have been friends for a long time. Lin Qiao knew that Gu Xin Ye did not have anyone else in Capital City until Qin Zhan returned.

Rather than letting Wang Zhi Wei look after Gu Xin Ye, it was best for her to stay around.

"Are you thirsty?" Lin Qiao turned around with the glass of water. She stared at Gu Xin Ye with a hint of expectation in her eyes. 

Gu Xin Ye could tell that Lin Qiao was looking forward to getting along with her again.
