Bab 301: His Grandfather's Request

The lunch between the couple and Zhou Jie ended smoothly.

Due to the old man's condition, he shouldn't have stayed out for a long time. After their meal, Zhou Jie excused himself to go back. He was about to let Assistant Sun pay for their meal when he learned that Qin Zhan already settled the bills.

Zhou Jie looked at his grandson helplessly. 

He wanted to treat the couple for a meal but Zhou Jie would not expect that his grandson had paid for everything.

Zhou Jie seemed to have noticed something else. 

It seemed that this was the first time that the younger generation from his family had treated him to a meal. In the past, whenever he went out with his sons or grandchildren, the one who would pay for the meal was him.

Being treated to a meal by the younger generation felt quite good.
