Bab 162: Ephemeral Radiance Temple
Han Zhou activated a treasure called the [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] as he grabbed Lin Fan's hand. The [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] was an ancient elf spatial treasure that was roughly the size of an onion. It sucked Lin Fan into the treasure along with Han Zhou before falling into the cloud.
Han Zhou controlled the small onion to keep going further and further and further into the cloud as Lin Fan looked around at the strange place they'd just entered. There was a small temple in front of them with a forest in the distance, but the horizon only showed the outside world. The [Ephemeral Radiant Temple] was hardly considered a fast vehicle, but was nearly possible to sense inside of the Spiritual Plume Clouds as Han Zhou cruised it to the center of the nimbus structure.
The device blended in with the background of the cloud and would seem invisible to anyone who saw it in the outside world. The only way someone could find the [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] was if they were in the god realm and could sense space distortion, or if they were lucky enough to bump into it. The only limitation the [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] had was that it could only be stayed in for six hours at a time and afterwards couldn't be used for three weeks.
It was an emergency treasure that was hidden from the Heavenly Chest List. It was actually about as rare as a sentient grade treasure like the [Sacred Law Manuals] Tome because of its practicality to demi-gods. The only problem was in the god rank people could break through the fabric of reality and enter into the void with their ability to sense space distortions. The [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] used the void to create the alternative space that Lin Fan was viewing.
There was several small statues in the distance in the temple that he was staring at as Han Zhou steered the vehicle through the cloud. A few Dragon Kin passed by, but they were unable to find Lin Fan and Han Zhou inside of the obscure, miniscule vehicle...
"You would've had to fight over a hundred demi-gods if I didn't have this device... You are lucky I didn't bring it here as a way to escape, but to teach you the obscure laws related to leadership, and strategy..."
"I'm just curious what those statues are in the distance by the ground of the temple... I almost feel like they are calling me, and telling them to come look at them..."
"Is it that, or that they are beautiful women?" Han Zhou sighed and patted Lin Fan on the shoulder... "Just so you know... those aren't statues... Those are people who were contemplating laws for so long that they eventually turned into wooden statues... The limit in here is six hours, but some people get lost in how easy it is to sense the void in here..."
"In the void, it is easier to sense the laws, but you can only enter into it in the god realm... Gods already have all their core laws learned, so it's hard for them to contemplate anything new... However, in here, you're able to slightly be part of the void..."
"Do you mind if I take a look at those statues?" Lin Fan didn't feel too worried about the [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] getting discovered and walked over to the statues before he rubbed the chest of one of the statues. He moved his hand from her belly to her chest before he looked up at her beautiful chin and a few pieces of hair sticking out of the statue. A prompt appeared above the statue's heads to Lin Fan's surprise...

[Costs five hundred thousand points to attempt to learn the obscure law of perception from this statue... It also seems that costs are reduced in [Ephemeral Radiance Temple] due to the connection with the void]
[Normal cost would be five million outside of the void, so you can learn things in here for at least ten times cheaper than in the outside world...]
"Screw your sister a hundred times, Han Zhou... I think you just gave me a gift you can't even begin to understand?"
"Don't get splinters trying to do anything with my deceased aunt..." Han Zhou crossed his arms as Lin Fan rubbed the chest of the statue and them moved his hand down to the legs. He could still feel the heat from the statue, but he could tell that this statue wasn't something he could simply bring back to life.
He sighed and looked at the big breasted beautiful elf before he decided to spend his points immediately to learn the obscure law of perception. He immediately felt an increase in his ability to use elementalization as well as his ability to control the secondary laws.
Was this the reason why Pox Ran was so strong?
The obscure laws seemed to have an affect on the secondary and primary laws, but it wasn't the same as increasing understanding. It seemed that these obscure laws had more to do with increasing your ability to utilize the laws rather than unleash destructive power...

[Cost for learning from manuals related to the law of fire, the law of water, and the law of lightning have decreased by five percent...]
Lin Fan nodded his head and smiled as he walked over to another statue.
This one was of a man and the the next one was of a young woman... He learned the obscure laws of rhetoric and the obscure law of management from the next two carvings.
He sighed and looked at over a hundred statues in the distance... He couldn't learn all the obscure laws in six hours, and Han Zhou seemed somewhat impatient with Lin Fan touching his ancestors...
"That... that was my grandmother..." Han Zhou complained as Lin Fan caressed a beautiful young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes that were somewhat apparent even with the wood around her body... "Please... I know you already have done things with my sister... No need to bring my grandmother into it..."
[This statue shows life force remaining, and seems to possess a heart beat... Remove the wood carefully and you may be able to restore the person inside of it to full health...]
"Your grandmother looks younger than your sister... doesn't she?" Lin Fan said as he smiled and looked at Han Zhou... "Help me bring her back her life... I think your grandmother might have a lot to teach me..."
