Gin's thoughts were disrupted by the beeping sound made by his communication bracelet. In the next moment, Dean Alfin's holographic image materialized before him.
"Gin, listen carefully. The Silver dragon domain knew you're the one who killed Garyx, escape as soon as you see this message.
You don't have to worry about your senior students, they already left the academy safely and I am currently leading them to take refuge in Rising Dragon academy.
Even if you didn't kill that youth Garyx, they will still try to eliminate you. In truth, my enmity with them dragged you into this mess so don't blame yourself.
Whatever you do, don't get caught by the peoples of Silver Dragon domain. If possible, get to a safe location and contact me, Baste and I will come to pick you up."
Dean Alfin solemnly declared, and the recorded message ended at that point.
Hearing Dean Alfin's words, Gin clenched his Fist. He knows Dean didn't blame him but it won't change the fact that he's the reason they are on the run.
Luna and Shaun who were beside him also heard the whole thing. Knowing his circumstances, Luna contacted her sister while Shaun called his father whom he hasn't spoken for years.
Just as the recorded message ended, another call came. Noticing it's from Hammer, Gin quickly picked up the call.
"Hammer, where are you?" Gin hastily asked before Hammer could speak.
"Hehe, I am in the northern wasteland. Surprised. Are you in the crowd of 100,000 some who magically appeared out of the ruin?" Hammer eagerly asked.
"What, you are here?" Gin was shocked.
"Yes,"
"Idiot, get out of here. I offended a powerful family from the core region, they are now searching for me. Don't tell anyone that we're friends." Gin spoke in a muffled voice.
"What? You are not kidding, right?" Hammer knows Gin won't joke with such things but he couldn't believe it.
If he and his family were targeted by such power, he didn't know whether they could survive. Even though his family is well-off, compared to the behemoths of the core region they are nothing.
"Where are you? Whatever the problem is, we will face it together." Hammer spoke in a determined tone, after a brief pause.
"Hammer, it's not time to test our friendship. Do as I say, go to your home. If my plan works out well, nothing will happen to us." Gin urged his friend.
"Gin, I believe in you. But if something happens to you, I...I—" Hammer stammered, but Gin interrupted his brotherly speech.
"Shut up, Hammer! Please stop that avenging talk as I would undoubtedly perish. It's creeping me out." Gin spoke half-jokingly. His words lightened the heavy atmosphere that plagued them.
Hammer spoke: "You were always a clever person and you knew better than me what to do in this kind of situation. We will listen to you, but don't you dare die!"
"Wait...Is Astro with you?" Gin asked, catching the word 'we'.
"Yes,"
"Tell him...I am sorry. I will soon make this right, till then be careful."
"Don't fret," Hammer said and ended the call.
At that moment, Luna also ended her call and giggled. "Gin, you don't have to worry. My sister said, she's nearby and will arrive here in a few minutes."
"What?! Your sister is nearby?" Gin asked, feeling uncertain. 'Why is she in such a barren region?'
Even though Luna and Shaun promised him to protect his friends, Gin knows it would take some time for their help to arrive. But now, Luna said her sister is nearby.
If her sister was kind enough to help him, then most of his troubles would vanish. Even though he hates this feeling of depending on other's help, at times like this it's the best option.
At most he will pay the favor back in the future, many folds.
"Yes. After hearing the Fiends invaded the ruins I entered, she was worried so she was rushing here."
Luna's face blossomed with smiles. Just a glance is enough to express how happy she was knowing her sister was coming.
'Their sisterly bonds has to be strong, for her to feel this happy.' Gin thought.
"Gin, I spoke with my family. My father said he will send 50-some experts as soon as possible. Mention the location of your friends, I will make sure they are protected all the time." Shaun who finished speaking with his father told.
After providing the address, Gin let out a sigh of relief as if a great weight has been lifted off his shoulders. The outcome was better than he thought, at least none of his friends won't get hurt.
"Thank you, guys. I don't know how–" Before Gin could complete his speech, a youth from the Silver dragon domain suddenly shouted.
"Representative Zhyho, that kid Gin is here."
Gin knows the youth, he's one of the youths who visited Heaven fall academy along with Zhyho, Rafe, Rodrix, and other kids.
As soon as the youth shouted, the experts of the Silver Dragon domain quickly spotted Gin and encircled him.
There are nearly ten experts that circled him, all of them are Seal Destruction stage practitioners. Just the aura radiating from them is enough to crush someone like Gin to knees.
The sudden development attracted many youths' attention, they were clueless as they didn't know about Garyx's death.
"Brat, no one can save you now. I have to say you are daring, fearless enough to kill the heir of the Bluehorn family." Zhyho made his entrance and snickered.
"He tried to kill me, I killed him. In truth, you are the reason he died if you haven't ordered him to kill me, he would have lived. Now you want to blame his death onto me and escape!" Gin calmly spoke.
"You have a way with words, but no one is foolish here." Zhyho eyes turned cold, "Capture him! Master Mesryth will arrive in a few mins, he will decide how he would die."
However, Shaun suddenly appeared before Gin and shielded him from the experts of the Silver Dragon domain from taking any action.
Soon, Luna, Feal, Tish, and Dia followed Shaun's footsteps. The actions of Shaun and Luna's group triggered a chain reaction, soon 50 some youths appeared before him and shielded him from the ten some experts.
All of them are youths who fought Fiends alongside Gin. They know deep in their heart, he's the key reason why most of them are alive.
The unexpected thing is, even Duanoz who hails from such a powerful background came forward to shield him.
Gin was honestly surprised as he didn't expect these many people would stand up for him in such a precarious situation, considering the words he fired at them.
Zhyho was confounded by the sudden change in the situation, 'How did this brat win these many people's support? This is not good!'
He knows some of these youths are from powerful families, while some of their standings are even greater than Garyx. If he does something offensive, he will surely incur the anger of every expert present here.
The experts from the Human union and the Fiend Hunter Alliance watching the show from the sidelines were also similarly dumbfounded.
If these many peoples are trying to defend a single person on their own free will, then that means, the youth is someone who earned all these youths' recognition or favor.
'He's not an ordinary youth!' All the experts thought to themselves.
Whitesword and Faust looked at each other, then nodded their heads. If something goes out of hand, they decided to save Gin.
They know, the Human Union lacks people like him.
At that moment, a shrill cry of a bird echoed from the far distance. Soon, everyone noticed a large bird that descended from the sky and alighted in front of them.
It was a large bird, 20 meters tall, and had a wingspan of 30 meters; beautiful blue plumes, reddish-brown belly, and razor-sharp nose.
"It's master Mesryth's magical beast — Silver-crowned Crane." An expert from Silver dragon domain commented.
Hearing the comment, Gin's heart sank. He didn't expect such a powerful expert would rush here from the core region.
'It looks like I need to part with the transcended-grade technique?' Gin thought.
Sending a sinister glance at Gin, Zhyho rushed forth and welcomed the old man who practically floated down from the magical beast's back.
Killing radiated from the old man, while an intense pressure submerged the entire region. He looked old, but his straight back and toned body said otherwise.
If not for the fringe of grey hair, none would think of him as an old man. His long hairs waved in the air, along with his silver robe which had dark-blue linings.
The old man waved his hand and then a loud 'slap' sound echoed. Zhyho who rushed to welcome the old man flew back, coughing blood while his entire left cheek was swollen.
