Finally, after a long ride, Mo Kio stopped his bike in front of a cemetery. The drive had taken longer that it should have as Kio was driving slowly due to Chen's fear.
Yu Chen got off and looked silently at Mo Kio as he parked his bike. He looked at Chen and said, while pocketing the key, "I want you to meet someone."
Yu Chen could already make a guess upon seeing the cemetery and the look on Kio's face. He probably wanted Chen to meet his sister, the one whose room Chen had seen and wore her clothes when she slept at the Mo mansion.
The two silently walked walked through many graves and then Mo Kio led her up a small hill. At the top of the hill, there was a cherry blossom tree. As they reached the tree, Yu Chen saw many graves were at the top of the hill. But one of them stood out. It was really clean and Chen was surprised to see, some books were kept on its side.
Mo Kio went upto that grave and picked up some leaves which had fell there. After making sure the grave was spotless, he turned around, looked at Chen and said, "Hey Chen, meet my sister, Mo Anxia."
He then turned to the grave and said, "Hey Anxia, meet Yu Chen."
Chen immediately bowed to the grave and said, "Hello Anxia. I'm Yu Chen. Nice to meet you."
Mo Kio smiled and sat down in front of the grave. He looked at Chen and said, "I'm sure you have a lot of questions. I'll answer them to my best capacity."
Yu Chen sat down beside him and said, "You don't need to, Kio. You don't, if you don't want to."
Mo Kio shook his head and said, "You have something Chen, you make people feel at ease. Your presence makes them feel lime everything will be all right and you give them strength."
Yu Chen: "I'm nothing special, Kio. I don't even know what you are talking about."
Mo Kio: "Well, I guess that's makes you special. You know Chen, she is that. The great secret of the Mo family the note talked about."
Yu Chen: "How old was she?"
Mo Kio: "She was a year younger than me. And the accident happened two years ago."
Yu Chen: "She must have been 14 then?"
Mo Kio nodded his head. Yu Chen said with a confused look, "Then she couldn't have been much of a secret. I mean, she was already 14."
Mo Kio looked into the distance and said, "No. She was a secret. And it's a long story." He then turned to look at Chen, "Do you want to hear it?"
Yu Chen put her hand on his and said, "Only if you're able to talk about it."
Mo Kio looked at the grave, at the name written on it. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
It seemed like it really was difficult for him to talk about it. Yu Chen gently stroked his arm and patiently waited.
