Lin Qian and the others followed Nan Xin, continuously drawing nearer to the Dead Tree Forest.

Upon entering the Dead Tree Forest, as expected, the originally dense fog that filled the sky had dissipated, leaving the forest fully exposed under the bright moonlight.

Due to Nan Xin's presence, a multitude of undead creatures moved around them. Although they occasionally gazed over with sockets flickering with dim green flames, they remained well-behaved and motionless.

After some time, Lin Qian estimated they were nearing the center of the Dead Tree Forest. At that moment, Nan Xin, who was leading the way, stopped in his tracks, and the marching army of undead creatures behind them also halted.

Nan Xin stretched out his hand in silence, seemingly muttering something. The soil beneath the dead trees began to churn and heave as if activated on its own.
