Bab 76: Handsome, young & blue-eyed
Just in case, Adriana walked towards the small bar and opened a glass cabinet. Out of all the small knives displayed, she picked her favorite and placed it on her thigh. It would be less likely to be attacked in broad daylight, but she had to take her precautions.
When she was about to leave, she sighed and walked upstairs again. She picked up a white coat with fluffy feathers. Yes, that was to distract herself from her current thoughts.
She couldn't help it. If she didn't feel that the plan was perfect, she wouldn't be able to leave this building peacefully.
"I should get diagnosed as a control freak already." She mumbled grumpily and walked to her own security room where she had cameras of the entire building.
All the computers displayed a different angle, but they could do more than just that. She typed in an address and the screen displayed all the cameras in that building.
"It sounds easy, but it's risky." She mumbled again, and she looked at certain angles of the cameras and replayed the mission over and over in her head.
She calculated the countless possibilities in her head and came up with the solutions. In five minutes she was way more assured than before.
Picking up a new purse, Adriana walked out of the penthouse. When she entered the car again, she put away the feather coat in annoyance.
She then took the device Ralf handed her, along with a small black box that held another set of the device.
"Has he arrived?" She asked.
"Yes, he will wait for us inside the private room, and the owner of the bar will prove your alias identity without a problem.
"Great, let's go." She said after making sure he had changed the plates of the car and also the car itself.

Upon Arrival, Adriana asked Ralf to stay outside. Private bodyguards weren't allowed inside since the 'Movie theater' had its own guards that held no bias towards the customers. This guaranteed everyone security unless they did something wrong.
Anyway, Adriana walked through the cinema and entered through a door that led straight to all the rooms with movies playing. She wasn't the only person there because two guards were already waiting.
"Good afternoon, It's unexpected to receive more guests at this time of day, so please come with us for a body check."
She nodded her head and silently walked to another empty room.
One man stood in front of her and touched her from her shoulders to her waist.
She stayed calm despite knowing she had a weapon in her thigh.
"Are you sure you want to continue touching?" She suddenly asked.
The guard chuckled until he noticed she had already caught his wrist and gripped on it. She smiled charmingly and asked again, "Are you sure you want to continue touching?"
"Did the female guards suddenly go missing?" She added.
When he realized she wasn't a new guest and knew how the place worked, he cleared his throat and took a step back, but he wasn't going to give up. he was having a bad day and the woman in front of him looked interesting.
"That's more like it. Now, lead me to room 123." She continued.
The other guard stifled a laugh and walked back to the entrance she had arrived from.
Oh, yes, she felt like beating the crap out of both of them.
Though she was thankful.
'They aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.' She thought.
She was also thankful for 'self-diagnosis' as a control freak. If she hadn't checked the cameras, she wouldn't have noticed that the only female bodyguard on duty had left early because of an emergency.
Earlier, the plan was that she would have the owner of the place come and welcome her in without a body check, but the owner is late. If not for checking the cameras earlier, she wouldn't have come up with a backup plan.
Still, she didn't expect them to actually check her body thoroughly.
"Fine. But at least remove your clothing." The man gave her a smug smile.
"It's the protocol, miss. I either check you or you strip."
"Hah." She laughed softly and lifted her hands.
"Now that's more like it." He walked up to her and checked her body again.
He looked down at her breasts and smirked.
"How about I take away your ability to reproduce instead?" Adriana returned him a 'sweet' smile and lifted her leg, hitting his crotch with her knee.
He fell to the ground with a scream.
"See, that's more like it. Now tell me, should I take a right or a left?"
"Left, right, and the door is right in front of you." He responded, sending her a glare.
"Thank you very much. It was a pleasure working with you."
She wiped that 'sweet' smile off her face and turned around when she heard someone laughing.
'Oh, no wonder he didn't resist after that.' She thought. There's no way that arrogant man in front of her just a second ago would tell her where to go and not resist.
He had definitely noticed the person behind her before she did.
"Adri! Did you miss me? It's been sooo long since we last met, huh?" The jet black-haired woman with green eyes grinned excitedly.
"You're late."
"Yes, sorry. I was a bit hungry, so I took a detour." She shrugged.
She then gave the man on the ground, who was sweating, a disdainful look.
"Seriously? You cannot do your job properly, and you also failed to realize she has a weapon on her. I swear everybody these days are just... useless." She clicked her tongue and walked past him. She then stretched her hand towards the hallway ahead.
"This way." She guided with a charming smile.
Adriana held back the urge to roll her eyes and walked forward.
....
"Well? Are you going to show me or not?" Hope asked while she devoured the plate with grapes on it.
It looked like she just couldn't stop herself from taking one after another every single second. It was annoying the hell out of Adriana because she was acting like she was watching some kind of entertaining show.
"And what exactly am I supposed to show you?" Adriana asked, taking a seat and closing the door of room 123 behind her.
"Uh, the plans? Remember? Your end of the deal…"
Adriana only ignored her and sat down.
She looked around, and her lips twitched.
It was a familiar place.
The room had snacks on the table and there was a blonde, blue-eyed man who looked like he was in his middle 20s sitting across from Hope.
She winked at Adriana when she followed her line of sight.
"Handsome, young, and guess what. Pretty boy! Look over here!" She shouted.
The man semi-smiled and his blue eyes glittered like stars. Clear light blue eyes, a set of sharp features, and an amazing build.
"Just like you like em', hmm?" Hope grinned at her.
"You're joking?" Adriana pinched the space between her eyebrows and took a long deep sigh.
"Huh? Hey, I went through a lot to find someone so close to your preferences, okay? Many people have blue eyes around here but not all of them have and I quote, "A unique vibe around them that draws you in." Okay? Ms blue eyes fetish girl. Tsk tsk,"
