Eddie didn't try to defend herself. She was suddenly knocked down by Victoria. The back of her head was hit on the hard floor, and her eyes suddenly closed. She suffered from dizziness for a few seconds, and she could not push Victoria away, which made Victoria able to do it successfully.

Victoria was very powerful when she was angry. She was holding her throat and barely letting her breathe. Eddie's face started to turn white and was slowly reddened by suffocation. The most chilling thing was that Stanley and Mrs. Greg, as well as the servants, just stood next to them; they didn't even try to stop Victoria.

Nothing but bitterness is all that Eddie could feel. Victoria was treating her like an animal. How ironic it was that this family never regarded her as a human. Eddie was just about to lose her consciousness suddenly a loud voice hollered, "Stop!" The sound came from the top of the stairs with an authoritative tone.
