It's been about a week since I awoke in this new body.
These seven days have been quite the challenge for me, not only did I have to familiarize myself with my new body and its needs, I also had to quickly adapt and fulfill all the many duties in the place I now call home to guarantee my survival.
Walking down one of the many sterile white hallways of the facility, I make my way to the control room for the routine check of all the systems.
My metallic feet remain silent in the hallway as it was not possible for sound to be transmitted through the vacuum of space.
After the first five days I shut down most of the life sustaining systems except for the ones in containing living organisms like the garden and some of the laboratories.
This stunt had relived me off quit some work giving me time to spend on other, in my opinion more important things.
