General POV
After a thorough shower, Silva and Blake returned to Belladonna manor to remove the scent of sex that hung on them to avoid Ghira's ire. Kali was waiting for them in the main doorway, and she asked them with a sly smile.
Kali: Had fun, you two?
Silva: More than you know.
Silva replied with a happy smile while Blake elbowed him while looking a bit embarrassed. Kali chuckled at the interaction and informed them.
Kali: Ghira is still asleep with all the alcohol he drank with me; he was always a lightweight. So no interrogation from an overprotective father.
Both Silva and Blake relaxed at hearing that and enjoyed breakfast with Kali as she pestered them for details in their date, which Silva provided, ignoring Blake's glare and kicks to his shins. After breakfast, Silva bade them goodbye and opened a portal to his date with Velvet. Kali then turned to face her daughter with a smile that promised mischief.
Kali: So, Blake, how about you finally tell me about your time at Beacon, with all the details.
Blake was getting ready to bolt, but Kali caught her daughter by the wrist and said.
Kali: Oh no, you don't.
But all Kali caught was a shadow left by Blake, and Kali called out, sounding annoyed at her daughter's avoidance.
Kali: Blake, sweety, get back here and answer my questions. I just want to know what you have been up to.
Kali chased her daughter throughout the day until she cornered her and got what she wanted.
Silva POV
It's nice to be back at the castle, and I head to my room to get a change of clothes for my date with Velvet. As I got changed, I heard a knock at my door, and I opened it to see my favorite white wolf Faunus Tsukiyomi.
Silva: Hey, Yomi, what's up?
Tsukiyomi pouted as she asked me.
Tsukiyomi: Where's my date?
Silva: Next week, if you want.
Tsukiyomi relaxed her pout and curtly told me.
Tsukiyomi: Don't forget, or else.
She walked off, and I blamed myself for getting a large harem and losing track of some of my girls to the point of letting them slip my mind. Feeling guilty for a few minutes, I shook myself out of my stupor and focused on the here and now. I went to the foyer to wait for Velvet and kill some time until our date.
I reread some of my magazines, and I heard someone fake cough to get my attention and saw Ilia then ask politely.
Silva: Hello, Ilia, how can I help you?
I saw a complex mix of emotions go over Ilia's face until she asked me.
Ilia: How was your date with Blake?
I looked at her curiously and asked.
Silva: Are you sure you want to know? You are still crushing on Blake something fierce, and hearing the details of my date with her may cause more harm than good for you.
Ilia sighed and solemnly nodded, and I told her about my date because, in the end, I honestly like Ilia, and I would rather not lie to her or withhold the truth from her. As I told her how my date went, she was surprised at Blake's choices for our date, and she had a nosebleed at me describing Blake's bondage outfit. She then asked me skeptically.
Ilia: Are you messing with me?
I laughed at her question and dug out my copy of "Ninjas of Love" novel, and handed it to her while telling her.
Silva: This is the one book I catch Blake rereading out of her collection often, so this might better answer your question more than me telling.
Ilia cracked open the book and started reading it out of curiosity, and soon the scales on her face turned pink in embarrassment and promptly closed the book. She looked at me with an expression that asked, "is Blake really reading this!?".
I nodded in reply to her silent question, and she walked away in a daze while taking the novel with her. Seeing her like that, I smirked and went back to my reading on new Hard-Light Dust applications, like a scope on a sniper rifle or a hard-light puppet that can serve as a moveable bulwark. As I read, I lost track of time until I heard Velvet call me.
Velvet: Silva, are you ready?
I looked up to see Velvet in a light brown dress with gold accents and spaghetti strap heels. The dress tightly hugged her body, showing her graceful figure and long legs as I admired her appearance and told her.
Silva: Velvet, you look absolutely beautiful.
Velvet blushed and gave me a happy smile at the compliment. Then, she fake coughed and asked.
Velvet: Silva, if it is not too much trouble, can we go somewhere where I won some tickets?
Silva: Sure, where to?
( An hour later)
A curtain pulled back, revealing a lot up a sign that said, VALE'S GOT TALENT! Yeah, Velvet won some tickets to this show when she went out shopping with Coco for our date. Apparently, Velvet loves the show, so I couldn't refuse even if it's not my cup of tea. The host Valentine came in and started the show. Valentine is a red hair pale woman in a white and pink suit and pink irises.
Valentine: WELCOME EVERY TO, VALE'S GOT TALENT! WE GOT SOME NEW TALENTS TO SHOW YOU FROM ALL ACROSS VALE, SO LOOK FORWARD TO TODAY'S SHOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
The rest of the audience clapped along with Velvet as the sign lit up, telling the crowd to clap, and I rested my head against my right fist. Then, after the audience quieted down, Valentine revealed the first participant.
Valentine: NOW LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE LOVELY NAVY STEEL; SHE IS A COOL TEMPERED GIRL FROM BEACON THAT IS HERE TO REVEAL HER TALENT.
A dark skin girl with dark blue hair and gray eyes showed up, and Valentine asked her with a charming smile.
Valentine: Now Navy, how does it feel to be a part of today's show?
Navy: I'm excited and nervous to be on television but mostly excited.
Navy gave a shy smile as she answered, and Valentine then asked.
Valentine: Are you ready to get this show on the road, Navy?
Navy nodded and took out various swords of different shapes and sizes. Valentine stepped back, and Navy started juggling the swords. While a bit impressive handling a dozen swords but not really noteworthy. As she juggled the blades, she quickly snapped her fingers, and they caught on fire which surprised the crowd.
As she continued to juggle, the blazing swords stopped burning and started to release a cold mist, then arcs of electricity, then splashes of water. I will give her this she has decent showmanship as all the swords in the air Navy stepped back and let the blades fall and form a neat single-file line.
Navy bowed as Valentine, and the crowd clapped at the performance, and the host then said.
Valentine: NOW WASN'T THAT SOMETHING FOLKS, LET'S GIVE IT TO NAVY STEEL AND HER IMPRESSIVE JUGGLING!
As the crowd applauded, the next act started, and I grew a little bored.
( Almost an hour later)
As the audience clapped as the previous participant left the stage and Valentine looked to the crowd and said.
Valentine: WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE SHOW IS ALMOST OVER, AND WE HAVE A SURPRISE FOR OUR LAST ACT, DRUM ROLL PLEASE. ONE OF YOU, THE AUDIENCE, WILL BE INVITED TO DISPLAY THEIR TALENT!
Well, this sounds bad. I pity the poor guy that ends up on stage. As the stage lights moved through the crowd, they soon focused on the chosen participant... Me. Crud, but I am not going down there as I was about to refuse Velvet asked me.
Velvet: Come on, Silva, I know you can do it!
Double crud, I sighed and decided I might as well give Velvet a memorable date. Valentine called me down to the stage.
Valentine: COME ON DOWN, YOUNG MAN, AND SHOW VALE WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF!
I got up from my seat and leaped from it onto the stage in a single bound, and Valentine then asked me.
Valentine: So young man, what is your name and where are you from?
Silva: My name is Silva Cloud, and I am currently attending Beacon.
I answered curtly, and Valentine then asked me.
Valentine: Well, Silva, what talent are you going to show Vale?
I shrugged and answered.
Silva: I might as well sing.
I am a half-decent singer, and I got just the song in mind. Valentine handed me a mic, and I snapped my fingers using magic to conjure up some illusionary bandmates; thankfully, I know how to play most instruments from my travels.

{Lyrics
So many people gonna say that they want you
To try to get you thinking they really care
But there's nothing like the warmth of the one
Who has put in the time and you know he's gonna be there
Back your border when she knows someone crossed it
Don't let nobody put you down, who you're with
Take the pain of protecting your name
From the crutch to the cane to the high wire
I'm in love with a girl who knows me better
Fell for the women just when I met her
Took my sweet time when I was bitter
Someone understands
And she knows how to treat a fella right
Give me that feeling every night
Wants to make love when I wanna fight
Now someone understand me
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
After many broken back doors and windows
Through the valley of the love of the lost
Is a hole that is cut through the souls falling down
From the thrones without reading any innuendos
But you found it a piece for the moment
The moment was over in time
Then it's gone, the hit and run
The differs one has a short life
I'm in love with a girl who knows me better
Fell for the women just when I met her
Took my sweet time when I was bitter
Someone understands
And she knows how to treat a fella right
Give me that feeling every night
Wants to make love when I wanna fight
Now someone understand me
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
I wanna tell you what you do to thank you practice what you preach
Now I know there's nothing we can't reach
'Cause the heart can't erase once it finds a place
To be warm and welcome
To be held in shelter
I'm in love with a girl who knows me better
Fell for the women just when I met her
Took my sweet time when I was bitter
Someone understands
And she knows how to treat a fella right
Give me that feeling every night
Wants to make love when I wanna fight
Now someone understands me
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with)
Who knows me better
Wants to make love when I wanna fight
Now someone understands me}
As I finished the song the crowd stood silent for a few moments and broke out in applauds. Along with Valentine as she ends the show.
Valentine: NOW FOLKS WASN'T THAT SOMETHING! THAT ALL FOR THE SHOW SEE YOU NEXT WEEK IN VALE'S GOT TALENT!
( A bit later)
Velvet embraces my arm as we walk back to the castle after grabbing some lunch after the show. Overall I say this date was a success. As we walked back, Velvet said.
Velvet: Today was fantastic, Silva! I mean, you got up on stage and sang that song. I wonder if anybody we know watched your performance on TV?
Silva: We will find out later, most likely.
We made it back to the castle, and as we entered, Velvet's teammates, Emerald, Ilia, Kyuu, and Morgana, came up to us and said together.
Everyone: YOU WERE ON TV!?
Before I could say anything, my scroll went crazy from the calls and text messages from everybody else, probably about me being on TV. Well, it looks like my night is not over just yet.
