"You had asked me to press the bomb and keep it on his head. How does this work?" Jennifer questioned Zavier.
"The bomb starts dissolving when a force is applied on it. Hence it is very risky to handle it. Once kept on the head of a person, the hair start absorbing the liquid from the broken shell. Henceforth it travels through the veins and reaches straight in the heart. As I have already told you that when a person dies the liquid in the bomb starts to show its effect. The moment the person dies, the heart bursts out and leads to an explosion. Even though this bomb is very small but it's effect is no less than a hydrogen bomb."
"You have really done a great work Zavier, but there would be a problem if this bomb goes in the wrong hands. So you should not make more of this as that may create a problem." Jason was but naturally worried about their safety.
"You reasoning makes sense Jason. I think we should also destroy the evidence of the process of making the bomb.. Do one thing Zavier, you memorize the procedure of making the bomb and destroy it."
"It make take some time Jennifer. I hope you may give me some."
"Memorize in one day then."
What one day??
Only one day?
'I am not the great Einstein. How will I remember this much of the process? It nearly took me one whole year to produce such an amazing bomb. Sigh! What days have come...' Zavier was sobbing internally.
His mouth twitched, "Can't you give me some more time?" He seemed to be begging her.
"Ok."
Zavier was suddenly became excited. But as it is said 'Happiness does not last long."
Jennifer's next sentence almost made Zavier go crazy, "I will give you one day and a second." She coldly glanced at him, her gaze seemed to say, 'Do you have a problem with it?'
Of course he will not have, more of he 'cannot' have. Without wasting further time, Zavier dashed towards his lab's desk.
"We should go now Jen. It's already half past nine. Aunty may worry if you don't go back soon."
"Ok."
Back at Diaz's residence,
"I am back home mom." Jennifer announced as soon as she entered through the main door.
Mary was in the kitchen arranging the dishes she prepared today as per Jennifer's liking.
"Wash your hands and come to the dining table, dinner is ready."
Jennifer came and sat down. She was lost in thought when suddenly Mary spoke, "How is Felix doing Jenny?"
Her mother's words were digging out the emotions out of her which she had tried to hold back. How could she tell her mother that he already left them..
Getting no response from Jennifer, Mary continued, "The doctor said he can just live up for more 2 months. The boy is really stubborn but he never listens to me. I wanted to meet him but he did not allow and made excuses. I remember when you first bought him here. He was just a cute little 5 year boy. I have always treated him like my own son. Do one thing for me Jenny, bring me to him. Let me give him a surprise visit in the hospital, it has already been a month since I visited him. He would probably be happy and...."
Jennifer could not see her mother getting all excited and preparing a surprise for a person she could not meet now. She did not want her to be sad but alas she had the right to know the truth. She thus interrupted her, "You cannot surprise him mother."
"Why can't I? Even though I am already very old but he is like my son he..."
Seeing that Jennifer was very serious and had a very sad expression on her face, Mary already guessed what might be the reason that she could not surprise him.
"Don't tell me he...he left..he.." Mary could not continue and kept stuttering. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"I have already done his funeral mom." Seeing that Mary already understood what must have happened, Jennifer decided to tell her about his funeral.
